Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sennheiser PC 151 Binaural Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone & Volume ControlCustomer Review: Sennheiser is the ONLY option Summary: 5 Stars
All that needs to be said is that Sennheiser is the best. The sound quality is amazing for the price. Spend just a little bit more than some of the other mainstream brands and you will be glad you did. My last pair of Sennheisers lasted me 5 years. I would still have them had I not rolled my computer chair over the cables...lesson learned! I can wear these for hours and they are light as a feather. The mic is superb. Gaming sessions have me looking over my shoulder at times thinking there is something in the room with me. Music is just amazing. The range is excellent. Stop reading reviews and just buy these already.
Customer Review: Would definately recommend! Summary: 5 Stars
After going through multiple pairs of headsets, I was told by a friend to test these out. Most headsets I had were either too tight or the sound was terrible, but these solve both of those issues for me. I can wear these for hours at a time and they don't bother me a bit. As other people have said, the mic works great and clear. Having them for almost a year now, they're pretty durable seeing that I've run them over with my chair and tossed them around occasionally, though I wouldn't say I've been brutal on them. Overall, I'd say they're great for the price; definitely worth the money.
Customer Review: Very disappointed Summary: 1 Stars
Before I get into the negatives, I will point out the one plus feature. It has an in-line mic mute and volume control. I think all headsets should have these and is one of the reasons I bought this.
I find this headset bulky, heavy, and uncomfortable. Because the earpieces do not fit over the ear but on top, they bend my ears back which becomes very uncomfortable in a short period of time.
I expected better sound quality. When listening to music, the sound quality is poor.
A minor point but at this price I expected a case and there is none.
Customer Review: Sennhieser PC151 - good for average use Summary: 5 Stars
This is a comfortable headset with cloth cover material over average size ear covers. Nice inline volume control with switch for mute. Long cord for reaching behind that computer on the floor. Good sound and sensitive microphone , great for fraging and talking with friends. Color coded microphone and sound plugs make it easy to identify where your plugs go. Sennheiser has mad a good product for average use. For long term use I would have to recommend one of their pricier headsets with bigger ear covers as they are more comfortable for long term use / gaming sessions.
Customer Review: Excellent Headset Summary: 5 Stars
What can I say about this headset? Well, I had them on last night for SIX HOURS on a Skype internet conference call and after all that time my ears were not sore. My brain was a little sore but not my head or ears. In other words they are EXTREMELY comfortable! The audio is great and I sounded the same to the other people on the call. Very clear and distinct. It also works very well in cancelling out noise. Plus they're Sennheisers, a highly respected brand and reasonably priced.
I'm very, very satisfied and I definately recommend this item!
