Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sennheiser PC 151 Binaural Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone & Volume Control

Customer Review: Not special
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this to replace a Logitech ClearChat Pro USB headset (the cord ripped out when it was caught in a drawer, sigh) and was very disappointed when I plugged it into my sound port (this is not a USB headset).

However, after I purchased the Syba USB Stereo Audio Adapter, the sound was compatible for both the earphones and the microphone.

Overall I still liked the Logitech better.

Customer Review: Good headset
Summary: 5 Stars

I like this headset. It's not super-light, but it's not too heavy for extended wear, either. I'm a casual gamer and I listen to a lot of music and videos, and this works well for that. The sound quality on the mic is great, I had 3 headsets from Logitech before this and they all broke.

I wish the cord were a bit sturdier, but I think I'll still get several years of good use out of it.

Customer Review: Love them
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these after a serious failure with 3 plantronics sets where the microphone kept going out. I had heard the name from my gamer friends so I made the leap and bought them, I am incredibly happy with them. I have yet to have ANY problems with them, they work for listenng to music, playing games, etc. They are super comfortable too, I often forget I am wearing them!

Customer Review: Perfect if you are Sponge Bob Squarepants
Summary: 3 Stars

This may be the worst looking headset I've ever laid eyes on. They are so abnormally shaped, they look like they were made for someone with an absolutely square head. I guess they are fairly comfortable, but they are embarrassingly ugly. I bought these to use with Skype, and they work much better than what I had, but take my advice and don't turn on the web cam.

Customer Review: Durable? YES!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have abused this set for about 4 years, tossing it around, leaving it on the ground, stepping on it, yanking out the cord, sitting on it...and it has lived. It finally dies after I shut the cable in the car door and left it dangling for a week (I could probably fix it cause the wire just got frayed internally probably) so now Im buying a new set.
