Customer Review: Great value, if you're patient
Summary: 4 Stars

When I first tried these headphones on, I feared that the other reviewers were right: they put a lot of pressure on areas that can cause a person a lot of discomfort, especially the temples. I actually felt very mild pain for the first couple of times wearing them. However, I gave them a second chance and brought them to my workplace, stretched the band out for a little bit, and wore them for a few hours. They wore in very quickly, in a good way, and felt comfortable by the end of the day.

The sound quality is actually very decent and the latent noise isolation of the cups is excellent considering that it is not a highly-touted feature. At my office they tune out conversation and other ambient noise quite effectively without having to turn my music up till my eardrums hurt. All in all, at the current price ($24) they are an excellent value, much better than anything else in their price range. I would definitely caution people with large/wide heads against purchasing it, but if you do buy them and they are uncomfortable, give them a chance to adjust to your head and they just might pleasantly surprise you.

Customer Review: Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

I knew these would be awesome. it Sennheiser what else could you expect. I tried some cheap ones that my cousin had and they were horrible. These look small when u actually see it but wen you put it on its amazing. They fit perfectly. My only concerned wat the fact that the sides were like wrinkly and would leave marks on ur ear but these dont do that. Only one little bad thing that i first noticed when i started listening, at low volumes the bass isn't so great but then when you raise the volume its phenomenal. but then again who listens to system of a down at a low volume. My speakers are now useless. i was going to get altec lansing mp500 speakers on Black Friday but they were sold out and my bro said i should get sennheiser head phones. As your first headphones these are awesome. when you get them at the right time these are only $28. if you think about it the cheaper sennheiser are around 20 bucks but then with shipping you end up paying only a few bucks less so i see no reason not to get these. When i look to buy something I'm always extremely picky and i picked these and i like them so that says something.

Customer Review: Excellent cans on a budget.

You just can't get a better pair of full-sized headphones at this price. The sound quality is much crisper than I would have expected and the overall sound is very balanced and natural while still conveying an impressive sense of depth. They also travel quite well, assuming it's not too hot outside as the leather(ette?) earpieces and enclosed design will have your ears sweating in fairly short order. The up-side being that they also keep the noise in as well as the heat.

I've read the occasional review stating that these are not a true circum-aural design, which is false. There is no part of the unit which rests on your ear directly. The entirity of it's surface area is distributed around the ear, making them as true to the definition of circum-aural as physically possible.

To summarise, this is an excellent pair of headphones, whether you're using them at home or on the go.

As an aside, the 150's are not only easy on the eyes, but on portable devices' batteries as well. With a single-AAA mp3 player, I noticed no difference in battery life versus my 9mm in-ear buds.

Customer Review: Bassheads only.

I just recieved these headphones. I bought some Sony V6's while these were shipping to me, but I figured that I would try these out before returning them. So I plugged them into my mac right away to see how they compared to the headphones I bought at MicroCenter for $8.
To sum: They sound relatively similar. There isn't any real difference, except that the EH-150 is a closed phone [yay] and does bass really well. While I listen to a bunch of bass stuff, it's not all I listen to, and the treble sounds muddy ... and there isn't a soundstage to speak of. [Also, it presses on my head a lot, which makes me lightheaded. It's an odd feeling, but it would be acceptable if I liked the headphones in general.]
I put on some classical music and closed my eyes, and the sound was unacceptable. Actually, the more I listen, the more I think that the $8 headphones may be BETTER than these Sennheisers in higher ranges [perhaps because they're open-air, but still ... that's ludicrous].
If you know the limitations of this headphone you'll probably be pleased with your purchase. I'm returning mine, though.

Customer Review: Best Headphones I ever bought
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased a set of these headphones to use for gaming about 5 months ago, and they are holding out great. I always had bad luck with headsets, so I bought the Sennheiser EH-150's and a desktop USB microphone, and it was the best thing i could have ever done. The sound quality is phenomenal; you can hear the subtlest of tones. when you play games and watch DVDs, it feels like you are there.

They also cancel a good amount of sound from your environment. I cannot even hear my computer's fans while I am wearing these. If you are looking for headphones, or just like to listen to music without any quality loss, buy these headphones.

I only need to warn you of two things: If you wear glasses, these headphones will pressure your ears and will (over the course of a few hours) get uncomfortable. Also, the foam head pad will flatten your hair and cause others to laugh at your silliness :-P.

I suggest that anyone using headphones for their computer should dump their old ones and get a set of these, because they are the best headphones I have ever owned.
