Customer Review: best road mic I've seen

The e965 is like a studio large-condenser recording mic built into a road mic housing. It is very clear and pure, but it is also very sensitive and will pick up every mistake you make. On the default settings (cardioid, no bass roll-off, highest sensitivity) it can be downright scary for an inexperienced vocalist to use. I love the thing, but you should think about whether you really want this kind of mic.
