As a musician and entertainer, my laptop is my office for creating music and promotional videos. My laptop CD-DVD drive suddenly stopped reading certain CD's and DVD's of mine. After 2 days of internet research and trying every fix imaginable - system restore, system analysis, Microsoft Support recommendations, and trying to determine which type of CD or DVD was having or causing the problem - I finally broke down and bought this lens cleaner. Within 5 minutes my drive was as good as new. There is a track listing on the back of the package that is self-explanatory and by simply putting the cleaner in your drive and listening to Track 1, you can have a nice clean drive in minutes. My Philips DVD player was having trouble reading some all-region DVDs and I thought maybe I should clean my lens. I purchased this cleaner and voila! the DVDs played. I've used the same cleaning disc for at least four years on my DVD players, my computer CD/DVD drives, and my car DVD players and it's given me great value for the minimal purchase price. I use these cleaning discs as desposable solutions to keeping a drive in good shape. The brushes are flimsy and fragial, and wear out in about four months, then I toss the disc, buy a new one, and am left with a free jewel case. The directions aren't real clear, hense three stars rather than four, but the price is right, and when you toss them in with large orders, you can't beat it.Customer Review: little laser late

If your already experiencing trouble with your disks, it's probably to late to buy this product. Far more is it useful as a preventative measure, for my drive stopped working completely after the first "cleaning" and didn't come back till I'd backed up everything, disassembled my drive, and cleaned the thing by hand myself. Keep your nose clean and your computer cleaner.
