A few weeks ago I received this product in a timely manor. About 3 days I believe. It's easy to use, easy to set up and figure out, but it's mainly used to hold the Original iPod, iPhone or iPod Touch. Mini's will not work for this product. Now I have an older car, (Honda Accord 2000) so my radio isn't in the best shape, so I'm not sure if that's why I pick up static in the speakers. Also, when I accelerate, I hear a high pitch which gets higher as I increase speed. But this may just be with my car.
All in all, I'm enjoying this product. It's worth it considering the price. But all in all, I'd say go for it.

after about a year with this product, i can give it only 2 out of 5.
it is good, charger and remote works.
but, i can barely use it with my iphone, since the radio interference is twice as loud as the music. only while using airplane mode - it is good (but no phone calls or SMS). with my iPod it's much better.
one more thing, because of the low quality plastic. the screw that holds the connection to the power plug in the car - broke after 2 months. i had to improvise with my own screw. too bad.
I wouldn't reccomend this product, not for 40$ anyway.

I bought this for my brother-in-law who just turned 16. Unlike other FM transmitters this product has the added bonus of functioning as a stand for the iPod and it also has a remote control so it's safer than having to fumble around with the iPod itself.
The charger function is also helpful especially if you have a phone such as a Razr that charges on a USB dock.
There are many devices like this on the market, but I like this one the best because it has a remote and it looks cool. I have bought two more of these as Christmas gifts and I plan to buy more.

I love it for the simplicity and the cost. Once dialed in to a radio frequency that works in your area you will be very pleased. My only problem and is no fault of the manufacturer is that it hits my stick when I shift into first gear. I drive an 04 wrangler and an E250 cargo van for work and in both instances it is rubbing or in the way of shifting. This I Feel is more of a automobilee manufacturing glitch than anything else. Everybody plugs something into their cars these days leave room. By the way I live under the four major radio towers in boston and still get a good signal. For $39.99, the product felt a little flimsy to me. When trying to adjust the angle so that I could plug it in, the screw came out almost immediately; just be careful. After that inauspicious start, hooked everything up and it works really well. Live in L.A. so it was a little hard to find a completely free channel (try 105.1) but once I did, I was a happy camper! Sound quality was good and I haven't had any dropouts like I've read on some other reviews for similar products. The remote was pretty useless; it seems to take forever to 'move'; it's quicker to just do the scroll on the iPod.
