I just bought the fam a new Sony KDL-46V2500 46" Bravia V-Series 1080p LCD HDTV for Christmas. I had plans on mounting it on the wall but didn't want to pay someone $300 (not including parts) to come and mount it on the wall for me. So I did some research and Sanus came up as the best flat panel mount out there. So, I ordered it...
It came with all the parts you need to mount on any kind of surface. I was mounting mine on over the fireplace which is a brick wall. So, all I needed to buy was a 1/2" masonry drill bit and drill holes in the mortar.
Only thing that I did not like is that it did not come with the right size screws for screwing the brace to the tv. I had to run over to Lowe's to pick up some longer screws to fit the tv.
In all, this is the absolute best mount out there for your HDTV.

I purchased this to mount a 46" LCD TV, that I had not yet purchased. After I purchased the mounting unit, I decided to upgrade my TV purchase to a 55" LCD TV. The mounting unit worked great either way. The mount holds the TV 2 1/2 inches from the wall, and the mount will allow the TV to tilt 12 degrees (per the instruction sheet). For my 55" TV, that was almost exactly the match of tilt and wall separation to allow the bottom of the TV to come close to but not quite contact with the wall at its maximum downward tilt. The mounting kit also includes multiple sets of screws into the TV, which likely will meet all TV manufacturers mounting hole requirements. The only thing that made me a little uneasy was that after mounting my TV, the TV will slide fairly easily to the left or right on the wall mounting bracket (at first I thought it might slide off, but the ends of the wall bracket are bent to keep that from happening).Customer Review: Great wall mount for the price

All the reviews on this wall mount are accurate. Great wall mount for the price. Very easy to install (even though the directions are very vague). Just go to Youtube and watch a view videos on how to install tv wall mounts, and you will be fine. I suggest going to Lowes or Home Depot and spend a little extra money on the top of the line stud finder which finds the center of your studs. I think it's around $50. Think the hardest part was the measuring and deciding where my wife and I wanted it to be placed on the wall. Don't go to Best Buy or another electronic store and spend hundreds on a wall mount, when this one will do the job. I scrolled through many reviews to see if people used this for a 55 inch model, but I couldn't find many. I want people to know that this holds 55 inch TVs with no problems. Tilting feature is great, but still hard to locate some connections, even when it's fully tilted.Customer Review: Dont Look any further !

We researched a lot of mounting brackets and finally settled on the Sanus VMPL50B Universal Flat Panel TV Wall Mount Bracket. We quickly realized that there was a very good reason why every consumer has given it a five star rating. It was quite easy to install and our handy man had absolutely no problem mounting the same above the fireplace. We were able to save hundreds of dollars as quoted by the various installation companies including Circuit City and Best Buy.
The mount came with all the parts you need to mount on any kind of surface. We were mounting ours over the fireplace and all we needed was the surface leveler and we were good to go. All the mounting parts were in the box. Now we have a wonderful TV experience thru our newSony Bravia W-Series KDL-46W4100 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV.

Well I have bought many many thing from amazon.com, but have never left a review. I am choosing to do so with this product because of the quality of the materials and the price.
I bought this Sanus TV mount to mount my 55" Samsung LED TV. 7100 series. Was a little worried at first about the product not fitting my TV since it only goes up to 56", but had no issues. all I can say is measure twice and drill once and make sure it is level. took about 75 minutes to install and is solid as a rock.
Some people have had problems with the head of the lag bolts breaking off, but I had no issues. As the instructions say "do not over tighten the lag bolts"
I can not rave enough about this TV mount it is made with very thick gage steel and quality parts.
Save your money.. I almost spent $250 on a slim mount for my tv. got this mount for $49 and its better quality.
