Customer Review: Very good wall mount, would be worth 3-4x the price!
Summary: 5 Stars

For the price this is one of the best, slimmest tilting wall mounts available. We used it on a Samsung 40" LCD and it took about 15 minutes to get installed. The tilt is the best part of this mount and allows us to change the angle (when seated in the couch vs. playing Wii sports or something) quickly and with minimal effort. The build quality is very good for the price point as well, many other sub $100 mounts feel flimsy, like if you don't mount it exactly in the sweet spot, you're TV will fall off the wall. No such worries here. The brackets are heavy and sturdy and you know when you set it on the rails that it's no moving. It took us a long time to decide to mount our TV, now we wish we'd done it so much sooner!

Other than the tilt, the best feature is just how slim it is. Doesn't add much width when mounted at all. Great for clearing up some space. If you have a TV within the ranges for this mount, get it, you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

Customer Review: provided screws broke during installation
Summary: 2 Stars

Bought this to mount a 46" Toshiba. The mount itself appeared solidly built. Instructions were a little sparse but fairly straightforward.

I drilled four 3/16" pilot holes, 2 1/2" inches deep into the studs, as recommended. But while ratcheting the supplied lag screws in, two of the screws snapped (I kept on going after the first one broke since I had this brief thought that maybe there'd be enough support with only 3 screws in place). Even more annoying, one of the screws snapped off with maybe a 1/4" of it still protruding, making it extremely difficult to remove or cover over.

I ended up buying some SPAX screws from Home Depot and using those to mount the TV a couple of inches higher than I had originally wanted it, without further incident. I guess you could argue it was better that the screws snapped off during installation, rather than while the TV was hanging! But of course, we shouldn't have to be worried about the screws breaking at all..

Customer Review: Great Value
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a recessed cavity for my flat panel LCD with no access to the rear of the Television, so I was concerned about the accessability of any latch that would secure the Television brackets to the wall plate. This unit includes "optional" (in my opinion) safety bolt that will secure the brackets to the wall plate, gravity holds the brackets onto the wall plate. So to gain access is as simple as tilting the base of the TV out and lifting the TV off the wall plate (truly a two person job). The construction of the unit is robust stamped (12 gauge approx.) steel, with a high quality finish (satin powder coat). The wall bracket is 29" inside the side stops, and the maximum span of the bracket mounting holes when mounted on the wall plate is 26 1/2". The tilt operates nicely on plastic glides. Sanus even thought of including concrete wall anchors with the extensive hardware packet! No worries with this wall mount, it is the same one that you would pay 2X the price at...!

Customer Review: Great Product and excellant hardware
Summary: 5 Stars

This was the first time I have hung a flat screen TV and was pretty wary of it being sturdy enough. I have a 2 year old daughter who loves to handle things. I had the plasma secured to the wall studs with metal wire but was still uncomforatble with the idea. 75 toddlers die every year by falling flat screen TV's so I decided to take the plunge. The hardware, base and the mounting hook (that attaches to your TV) looked very sturdy out of the box. Most plasma's would need the M6 and M8 (heavier screws) screws to attach the hooks to the TV. Mine needed the M6. I attached the base to two wall studs as my studs (for some weird reason) are 24 inches on center instead of 16" on center. Screwed the base to the wall with 4 lag bolts and have 2 in spare but that seemed sturdy enough. Hanging the plasma on the base was pretty easy with 2 people. My TV is 89 lbs. The adjusting screws to tilt the plasma are awesome.
I would highly recommend this product.

Customer Review: Easy Install, Very Sturdy
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this flat panel wall mount for my Philips 50" Ambilight Plasma TV. The install process was as simple and straight forward as can be and I was able to install it in less than an hour. Basically it's a simple four step process:

1. Find the studs and drill the holes
2. Mount the bracket to the wall
3. Screw in the holders onto TV (hardware is included for your TV)
4. Hang TV onto bracket. Done!

The mount is super solid and very sturdy and it's holding up my plasma great. At first I was worried that I wasn't going to have the right size screws to use for the back of my plasma, but everything was included and labeled very nicely. The other thing I was worried about was that I was going to find my plasma on the floor the next morning...it's been two months and it's held up just fine. Bottom line: Super easy to install, and very sturdy. Overall very satisfied with this product.
