Customer Review: Great wall mount
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this mount for my 42" Panasonic Plasma. The packaging was in order & all screws are in individual packages (so you only have to open the package you neeed). The instructions were not great (nothing written, just pics), but it is simple enough. All you have to do is match the right screws for your particular tv. Unfortunately, as others have posted, I broke 2 lag screws, and they were just halfway in the wall. I suggest you go to the hardware store & get 4 high quality lag screws & washers (well worth it). I screwed the mount into 2 studs & it is not going anywhere. It took less than one hour to hang the mount. Once the mount was up, it was very easy to hang the tv. And with the tilt feature, it was even simple to connect the wires / cables to the back (although I suggest doing so before you hang the tv - it's just one less thing to do once it's on the wall). The tv slides from left to right so it's easy to center before you lock the tv in place. And the one touch tilt feature is really one touch. I highly recommend this mount (especially for the price - I saw this exact mount @ Wal-mart for $114)

Customer Review: Great wall mount and nice quality!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought 2 of them, one for my Sony 40" XBR7 and the other for my Pioneer Elite 50" and they are great, good quality and strong, they come with lots of different size screws and instructions; they were easy to install, the hardest part was to find the studs on a drywall; the first one took me like 30 minutes and the second 15 minutes; they were the first ones I ever put and very happy with the results, specially when saved a few hundreds ($300 each) that a professional installer wanted to charge me.
Some buyers complained that there is no much space to put the little screws on the bottom that secure the TV from falling to help on that issue just put the screws before you put the TV on the wall and to tight them just tilt the TV and the same applies to connect the wires on the back, just tilt the TV.
The only small complain is that is a little hard to loose or tight the 2 plastic tilt screw tilt adjusters on the sides, so you need somebody with small hands to do it for you.
I recommend it to everybody. Amazon shipped them really quick and got them in under a week and the price is really good too.

Customer Review: Solid unit that could use more adjustment
Summary: 4 Stars

I have two of these mounts, one on a 60" Pioneer that is great and one on a 42" Panasonic that is not quite as useful. The mounts as very durable and mount easily. Once attached to the studs, they are rock solid (had an earthquake recently and neither TV budged). On the 42" Panasonic, the mount has a couple of minor disadvantages that are not present on the Pioneer. The Panasonic has a bulge at the bottom. While the mount attaches to the panel just fine, that bulge limits the pitch angle. If you mount the screen high on a wall and want to pitch down, be careful. Additionally, since the mount must be screwed into studs for safety, it helps to have a mount that has lots of side to side movement so the screen can be slid horizontally to be centered on a wall. The Sanus mount for my 60" Pioneer has about 8 inches of motion to the side. The 42" mount has about 2" of movement to the side. In my opinion, that should be increased on the 42". Of course, the primary function of these mounts is a solid attachment to a wall. Both Sanus mounts do a great job of that, have some adjustability and are easy to use.

Customer Review: Buy It....Great product and price
Summary: 5 Stars

I read many reviews on this product, did a lot of research online and checked out many wall mounts in stores before buying this mount. i had read contradictory reviews regarding the hardware; there is more hardware included than you will need and the lag bolts (4) that were included to screw into the wooden studs in my wall were fine, in fact very strong. i had gone to the hardware store and picked up some zinc lag bolts thinking i would use them but ended up taking them back. i had the tv up and mounted in about 30 minutes. i have mounted one prior so that helped a little. i saw this exact make and model in a store yesterday for $199. Sanus makes a nice product. the tilt feature works well, the screws provided to attach to the back of my LCD (Vesa) fit perfectly onto my new 40" Samsung 1080 HD LCD. just drill pilot holes with a 3/16" drill bit for the lag bolts into the studs and use a 1/2" socket to screw in the lag bolts. i am very satisfied, and i am picky. high quality and great bang for the buck. do not hesitate to buy this product, and i think it is better than the other brands in this price range.

Customer Review: Great bargain, good construction
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this mount for my new Samsung UN55B8000 55" LED LCD. The mount appears to be well-made and so far works flawlessly. The installation instructions aren't real descriptive so you have to know a little bit about what you are doing (especially when it comes to drilling into studs and making sure you have a sturdy mount.) After reading other reviews on Amazon, I didn't bother with the lag screws that came with the mount. Instead, I just went and bought some quality ones at my nearest hardware store. I had no troubles with those. Note that for this model of TV Samsung tells you to use the mounting spacers that come with the TV. If you do use these spacers, none of the hardware that came with the mount will work for attaching the brackets to the back of the TV. I recommend buying some 1 inch hex bolts that are 8mm x 1.25 (1.25 being the thread count). DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THOSE... SINCE THEY ARE HEX BOLTS IT'S EASY TO DO! Only other issue is that the adjusting knobs (to hold the tilt angle) are a bit tough to reach once the TV is mounted on the wall. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.
