Customer Review: Nice Y shaped Shelf for Cable box and Blu-ray Player!!!

The shelf bracket is very sturdy when mounted to a stud. Who ever designed this did not take into account that most units you would set on this shelf have feet. The feet get in the way of these rubber knobs they have mounted on the shelf. I had the pull the cable box out from the wall more than I had hoped so that the box would sit correctly on the shelf. Only a few inchs but it would have been nice to have the boxes sit back a little more flush with the wall. The supplied alan screw that secures the Y shape to the wall bracket stripped the first turn and the alan wrench provided never fit it correct from the beginning, hence the stripping of the screw head. Once I was able to secure the Y to the wall bracket everything was good to go. It has a nice clean look and does the job.Customer Review: Very sturdy

Swtiched to satellite from cable and needed something to mount the DVR box on in the bedroom. Have a 40" mounted to a mount and was very satisfied with that product so I figured this item should be very similiar in quality.
Installation was very quick and easy. Having a single mount to fit a variety of items can be difficult however this item gives a good foundation. I think I am going to cut a piece of 1X and put a decorative molding on the fron to give it a nicer look but more for functionality. Also glass gets nasty even in the cleanest house.
Overall construction is very good. Nice and tight fit and finish. Did without the plastic cover for the cords however. Would purchase again.

I was looking at A/V component shelving options, but for anyone who has owned glass in their home, they know it's a ROYAL P.I.T.A. to keep clean. Most of what is available is glass, and I just didn't want to deal with that BS again. So I got these instead to mount ABOVE my new 50" Samsung plasma and hold my digital set top box from Comcast, my home theater receiver, and my VHS/DVD-rw combo unit in my bedroom.
I would post a pic, but I'm too lazy.
All I can say is, they are built very well, and they have been installed for over a month already and I'm VERY pleased with the simplicity they offer of just keeping the devices up high and off the ground and out of the way.

I'm pretty picky and I don't usually give 5 stars. This product is pretty good. It does not include a class shelf to set AV component on. However, I think a class shelf is unnecessary as it restricts air flow anyway and is just anther thing to clean. This thing is sturdy and easy to mount. The only thing keeping it from getting a "5" is the fit and finish. Screw holes were a little off center for securing the shelf to the wall bracket. I would also like this to be modular and allow multiple shelves to be linked together and allow cables to pass through. Also the price is a bit high considering the simple design and very litte materials invlolved in production.Customer Review: Good product

This is a nice product. In my case, however, after installing it, it ended up crooked, but it's because I installed the base a bit crooked to one side without noticing it. My only observation is about the 2 tiny screws that actually support the "V" holding the apparatus to the base. They don't have a head and therefore they can easily be screwed through the whole. For the one on top, it doesn't actually go through a hole in the base, so what it does is to press it. Not sure how firm and for how long it can keep it sturdy, but there they are holding my JVC receiver, which is quite bulky.
