We needed to replace our portable radio. This is great - digital, easily switches from AM to FM and has 5 preset buttons in each band.
We usually listen to AM in the morning and the reception is excellent.
We are very pleased with the purchase.

The PR-D7 is a lightweight and convenient portable AM/FM radio with very good performance. You can power it with the included AC Adapter, or six "AA" size batteries (not included). If you use it with rechargeable batteries, you can charge them right in the radio. The PR-D7 conveniently displays radio frequency and time of day at the same time.
