Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sandisk ImageMate 5-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader SDDR-99Customer Review: Piece of Junk Summary: 1 Stars
Watching paint dry is far faster than this unit downloading images.
It only worked for the 2 reads from a Sansdisk Extreme III SD card.
Now even though the little green light goes on, the card does not even register at all.
Now I have to tie-up my DSLR to download the images.
It's a waste of money.
Customer Review: Best reader/writer I have tried Summary: 5 Stars
On Windows XP SP2, it just worked. I have 2 other readers that do not work reliably, but with SD cards up to 4GB and xD up to 1GB, it works and transfers appear to be faster than when the card is in the camera. The one issue I have is the instructions for the software is confusing and I found that I don't need it.
Customer Review: great product Summary: 4 Stars
It works well I only wish it was more compatible with the Mac. The button does not work with Macintosh computers, but the reader still works just fine. Plug a card in to it and the system detects it. To eject the card on the Mac just use the normal drag and drop, or if you have it set up right click procedure.
Customer Review: So far, so good.... Summary: 5 Stars
I am not a computer guru, so I needed a card reader that is simple. I have Windows XP, and it was just plug and use. Its compact, so I leave it plugged in next to my computer all the time. I've had it for 3-4 weeks, and so far I'm extremely pleased with it--no frills, and works with any card I will ever use.
Customer Review: Great Reader Summary: 5 Stars
I use this thing to transfer pics and vids from my cell phone, to put music on my cell phone, to put content on my PSP memory stick duo, it's perfect. I can take a video on my cell phone and put it on the computer and on YouTube within minutes. Good reader if you have use for SD cards and Memory Stick Duo's.
