Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sandisk 8GB EXTREME SDHC SD Card Class 6 (SDSDX3-8192 Bulk Package)Customer Review: DOA. No Warranty Summary: 1 Stars
BEWARE: This is what bulk packaging means for Sandisk: it has no warranty. Zilch. That's the answer I got from them. When I asked if the reseller was authorized to sell the product, they said they don't know, nor do they care, even though I provided an invoice from the seller.
I've bought CPUs, optical drives, hard disks in bulk packaging. All of them came with full warranty. This sounds like an outlet for cards that don't pass QA for Sandisk. I'm shocked that a name brand will do this.
Customer Review: Great quality card and it works very well. Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this for my new Kodak Zi8 (video) camera, and so far it works great. I've never had a problem with SanDisk memory cards, even ones purchased in bulk. This is not the place to go cheap by buying some off-brand. These cards will last "forever" and saving a few bucks isn't worth it. I trust the SanDisk brand. UPDATE 1/09/2011: I used the card yesterday for a 1 1/2 hour video recording. It worked great with no problems at all. I highly recommend these.
Customer Review: Fast but needs more speed for laying on that shutter Summary: 4 Stars
Just bought this card to shoot in RAW mode, So for JPEG use this card is more than plenty fast on most just about any hi res DSLR or point and shoot.
I caught a busy signal with this card on my Rebel T2i/550D after about 5-6 shots in rapid succession. This camera shoots at 3.7 frames per second. If you are going to shoot RAW with this camera bump it up to the 30mb/s card.
Still a great product, I will continue to use it.
Customer Review: Works perfectly Summary: 5 Stars
Its hard to review a memory card. It either works or it doesn't. The marketers try to impress you with extreme-this or super-transfer-that, but that's like trying to market distinctions in gasoline: it either makes the car go or it doesn't. This card makes my Canon G11 'go' just fine, so I recommend it. The item came in the same box as the camera, packaged securely and arriving promptly. So, good vendor, good product. Done.
Customer Review: The best in SD cards Summary: 5 Stars
This card was purchsed for a Kodak flip camera. It takes 1080p video and requires a class 10 card. All other reviews and my experience from other cards I've had from SanDisk indicate that SanDisk makes the best cards. So far this has been true of this card. If you buy a flip camera make sure you get the proper class of card. And if you want no glitches in performance get SanDisk.
