Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sandisk 8GB Cruzer Titanium USB 2.0 Flash Drive (SDCZ7-8192-A11, Retail Package)Customer Review: Solid Drive, Like the Rest Summary: 5 Stars
I now own the 2, 4 and 8-GB versions of the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium drives. I love all of them, and although I don't use them heavily, I've never had them fail. To make them compatible with some networked computers, I've had to remvoe the U3 technology. Since I live in a climate where static electicity is not common, I've never expereince the data losses reported by others (due to the metal casing).
Customer Review: Yet another GREAT product! Summary: 5 Stars
SanDisk has done it again... created yet another great flash drive! Fairly good capacity, speed is not as fast as some of their other available flash drives. Though it may not be as fast, it is crush resistant to about 2000 pounds, so even for the "accident prone" it's the perfect model.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fairly large, high end flash drive...

Sandisk 8GB Cruzer Titanium USB 2.0 Flash Drive (SDCZ7-8192-A11, Retail Package) (Purchased on 09/05/2008)
by SanDisk
This product survived a double washing & drying and was too hot to handle when retrieved; but still performed as well as when I first loaded it -- all data intact and only better for the cleaning--unbelievable but true--ESN
Customer Review: brilliant little rugged USB Summary: 5 Stars
The U3 is very easy to deactivate. The ability to use the memory on the drive for RAM is genius. I would suggest getting a 16GB if you want to use it for RAM 1 GB and over as well as storing files, but the 8GB is just fine if you don't have loads to save. I wouldn't get anything but a titanium USB because the plastic ones just end up breaking. This baby is for keeps.
Customer Review: Excellent Product Summary: 5 Stars
This flash drive is excellent. The Titanium is a really nice style and makes for an extremely durable product. The 8 GB capacity is a nice amount of space to have on the drive for plenty of documents, videos, etc. The only complaint I would have would be the U3 software included, but there are methods to remove this, as, having a Mac, it is totally useless to me.
