I bought this little flash drive as a space-saving alternative to my bulky portable WD 250GB external hard drive. Although that drive is awesome and fast and has a ton of space, for some situations it just wasn't feasible to carry with me all the time and way too noticeable. When I got the Cruzer, I didn't think the throughput would be that fast because of the space limitation and it being only USB 2.0. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This little guy is very fast and I've got a lot of personal info on there I use on a daily basis and still have about 4.6GB left! I highly recommend it for anyone needing a little storage for personal data used on a constant daily basis and to transfer files temporarily from one computer to another. It's solid, fast and for the amount of storage space, very cheap.Customer Review: mmichel

This is a great product. I have no complaints so far.
Pro: Great size pysically and the 8 gig capictiy is perfect. The metal case is also great to. I have it attached to my keychain and it is holding up.
Cons: Like with all software that comes preloaded on almost any computer electronic...it's terrrible. The Sandisk software preloaded on the device is a hastle. You can uninstall, which I did and suggest you do. Also before you start using your drive reformat if to NTFS. If you don't know how to Google FAT32 vs. NTFS. These two complaints shouldn't keep you from buying this product considering they are very fixable.
Overall this is a great product.

I saw a video where the Sandisc Titanium cruiser was driven over by a car and still worked perfectly. That sold me because I keep flash drives in my pocket and the plastic ones are forever breaking.
It's a tank - It works fast, and .. it's a tank.. No more words need be said.

I use it with the Vista backup, It's fast and dependable. Remember to to use the "Eject" button on the Cruzer utility to safely remove it.
