I use this SD card in my NIKON D40 and can take hundreds of shots, even at their uncompressed levels, no problem. This card puts up with all kinds of abuse, and repeated dowloads through all kinds of readers (SD HC of course) with no trouble. REliable, clean, fast, easy; couldn't be better.
I remember the horrors of film, and development by hand under harsh circumstances. It was truly an art and a science back then, but wow am I glad for this SD card. Takes the worry and care out of taking great pictures.
No problem at a great price. DO you know how many boxes of film rolls it would take to get this many pictures?!
Great at what it does, and does it well. Let us give thanks, and take pictures! Shoot a roll; keep a shot! Be happy!

This card was bundled with the Canon camera for a small extra charge. The real value was the free shipping and no sales tax through Amazon. I prefer 4gb cards over 8gb since I can carry several cards and download and clear them when I am ready. With 8gb I tend to keep shooting without re-formating and end up downloading the same pictures over and over to get to a few pictures I want to email. I carry several cards and a backup battery when traveling in foreign countries so that I can label the cards and download them when I return. Sandisk is a good brand that I have found to be reliable. Don't let sales clerks at electronics stores sell you high priced "faster" memory. Most cameras don't fire off shots fast enough to make a difference.Customer Review: Not as other reviewers stated... item has changed

Check the specific details when you order this item... Other reviewers have stated being charged very high shipping for this, and the photo shows a Class 2 card.
Mine cost $8.98 plus 68¢ in shipping and handling, when bundled with a camera.
I received a Class 4 card, and it arrived within 7 days of placing the order.
I'm very happy with the service and the price.
I am no newbie when it comes to SD and SDHC cards, or to reading and decrypting the descriptions and the ordering traps use by some sellers (such as using a very low price for the item and then charging an arm and a leg for shipping). Read around, check the shipping cost when the item is in your cart.

This card gets the job done. If you have a USB cable and dont mind using it as your way to transfer photos from your camera then this is the card for you. I dont like to open up my camera and remove tiny cards from it every time i want to transfer photos. I am not a fan of "card readers" personally. On my 12mp camera it holds about 1000 photos on the card. Way more then i ever need room for. Im pretty regular about putting them on my computer. Personally i dont know why you would want to buy anything larger unless you loved caring all your photos around with you all the time. If thats the case, get a nice large capacity card. I never received the item that I paid for from this merchant(Digital Media Source)! I raised the matter with them on several occasions, over many months, but their feedback has either been non-existent or useless! The reply from them would be something like "Please confirm your address and we will submit a claim for investigation." Nothing positive ever came out of these "investigations" and, after almost a year, I haven't received the item and I haven't been refunded.
This is easily the worst online shopping experience I've ever had and I'd hate to believe that this is how they usually (mis)treat their customers. I'm quite certain that I will not be buying anything from them again!
