Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sandisk 4 GB Extreme SDHC Card

Customer Review: Nice card to have
Summary: 4 Stars

I am happy with what I got from "Digital Media Source".
Although small correction: I have received card that looks like second Image ( Extreme HD video Class 6 20 MB/sec) and no mention of Extreme III.
Sandisk website did not clarify difference between two. Maybe one is marketed more to the Video crowd or just older/newer version - who knows.
Part number did not help either - therefore "minus star".

Other then that- I did a quick test- write speed is about 19MB/s.
So, it performs as advertised. Hope this helps.

Customer Review: awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been photographing nature for many years. Birds in flight especially. I never considered a sd card as being a critical item for this type of action photography. I was completely wrong in my assumption and without accurate knowledge. The difference is huge in all aspects. Who would have ever thought. It's all a learning curve. I will never make this mistake again.
I will now try it at the Daytona 500 on the 20Th. The new track will make the action and wrecks even more spectacular. It's off to the races.

Customer Review: check your equipment before buying!
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this memory card for my Nikon CoolPix 4200 with great expectations, before finding when it arrived that my camera would not read the card. After much searching online, I finally found on SanDisk's website that many older computers and cameras are not compatible with SDHC cards, so I wasted my money on this purchase. You would think that somewhere on the item description they would warn you of this potential issue, but I'm now out of luck. Could be a great card, but I may never know.

Customer Review: Works perfectly for T1i 1080p HD video
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this for my Canon T1i because my other memory cards could not handle more than 6 seconds of 1080p video at once because they weren't fast enough.

This handles 1080p perfectly, but if you are planning on using in heavily (I was not) you might look to get a bigger card: on an empty card, the camera estimates it has 12 minutes of 1080p, 17:50 of 720, and 24:03 of 480, as well as about 600 of its 15 mp jpg shots and 163 raw shots.
Definitely worth the amazing price.

Customer Review: Great card at a great price
Summary: 5 Stars

I ordered 3 SD cards from this vendor. Items arrived on time as promised. Each card was packed with a plastic case similar to what one would expect from a retail box, and then a small re-closeable bag. All SD card contacts were clean and cards appeared new. I went to the Sandisk website and registered the cards with no problems. If you are looking for a great price without the retail box, this is worth a look. By the Way I am using these cards in a Nikon D80 and have had NO problems.
