Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sandisk 4 GB Extreme SDHC CardCustomer Review: Great Card, Good Price Summary: 5 Stars
The SanDisk cards are great and this is a good price. The seller tacks on about $4.25 per card for shipping and handling even though it probably cost them less than $1 to ship two cards to me. But, even with that "hidden" charge it was still cheaper than I can purchase these locally.
I ordered two cards. They were each packaged in the standard plastic shell case for an SD card and then inside a static bag, but without retail packaging. They appear to be new and unused. (I suspect that these discount sellers obtain these by breaking up bundled product sets, like a digital camera kit which includes the camera, a battery, a charger, and a memory card, and selling the individual pieces for a discount price, but I don't really know for sure).
Note: These cards are available from several different sellers on Amazon, this review is for the seller BlueProton.
Customer Review: Great card, big Sandisk name at a reasonable price! Summary: 5 Stars
This has been a great card for my D90 so far. I also have (3) 4GB Ultra II cards. I chose 4GB on the advice that they are closest in size to a DVD, so you are one step ahead if you backup on DVD.
This card allows me to shoot at the max 4.5fps my camera will capture and minimize the wait time while the camera writes treasured memories to this card. To be fair, there isn't much wait time on my Ultra II cards either... at least not enough where I can say one is 3 times faster than the other or something like that. I usually watch the "instant replay" after the pictures are taken, and by the time the camera shows me what it took, the card has long since stopped writing, even in burst mode.
If you are really on a budget, get the Ultra II cards of the same capacity as they are currently about $6 cheaper and in the same price range as "value" cards.
Customer Review: FAST write works great for video recording Summary: 5 Stars
When I bought my camera (Kodak 12 mp) I had the option of purchasing a 2 gig SD card with it for only $10. But it was a slow card. Trying to use the camera in video mode just wouldn't cut it. I'd had this problem with another camera and card that was only rated 1 for speed.
The Sandisk card combined with the Kodak camera has worked out wonderfully. It's rated at 6, which is the fastest card available. I've taken several videos and they've all been excellent. NO jerky frames, just pure, clean, video.
Of course, the camera will hold way more pictures using this card than I'll ever take at one time, even in the 12 meg mode. But it will be nice to have this much storage (4GB) on a vacation. (if I ever get to take one)
Over all, this SD card has done all I've asked of it and more.

Customer Review: Worth Every Penny!! Summary: 4 Stars
The term that you get what you pay for is a understatement, With my purchase I got a holding case and a data recovery application. Though I have not used this App, It was nice of them to throw this in. running as a Backup For My D80 I ran this guy hard filling it up once with .NEF Raw files then again with Jpegs. I also did local (PS) editing on it and it did what it said without any faulting, corrupting, nor fragments in my Photos, I'm not suggesting to use it as a cache drive (lol) I did for testing and benching.. For the Money I can't say anything bad about it. And the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because there are some faster cards for more money. But GET this one if for just a backup only, or just a little extra buffer. You never know when you might need it.
Customer Review: Good SD Card but Much Slower than UltraII 2 GB Cards Summary: 1 Stars
I have Canon 1Ds and 1D Mark II cameras. I shot in RAW format, so I get large image sizes that are stored on the cards. I've been very happy with Sandisk UltraII 2GB cards and wanted to get a little more space for longer trips. I purchased 4 of these cards and tested each card on 10-shot burst on both cameras. Each of the 4GB cards took twice as long to process the data as the Ultra II 2GB cards. I use the burst mode on these cameras for wildlife (the 1D is capable of 8.5 frames per second) and I need to be ready to shoot again within 10 seconds. The cards took more than 30 seconds to finally store all the images (about 85 megs of data). I don't know if I got bad cards or the larger space is naturally slower, but I'll sell these and stick with my 2GB cards.
