Customer Review: Slow, Slow, SLOW! BEWARE non techy folks

I'm actually pretty darn tech savvy, but I somehow managed over the years to not hear that there are different speeds of SD memory cards. Whoops.
I bought this card and immediately put it in my Blackberry Bold, replacing my existing 2gb card. My God, my Blackberry dang near froze. If I take a picture, it takes a solid 15 seconds to reboot the camera for another. If I try to hook my Blackberry into the computer and drag and drop files, it freezes for 10 minutes at a time. My Bold also randomly shuts down and reboots, which apparently is caused by it being short on memory.
So, this one is going in the trash. Instead, I just bought Class 6 card, which will hopefully resolve these problems.

I ordered this product from The Oem Shop. The product itself is at a very reasonable price and there is not much else to say about a Micro-SD card. It does what it is intended for and works flawlessly with my wifes Android phone. However the lack of communication and shipping methods required between Amazon, the seller, and the buyer is something left to be desired. Almost a month after ordering I finally received my product and the packaging was laughable. It was shipped in a small padded envelope and the SD card itself was tucked inside the packing slip. There was not even a hard plastic cover for the SD card like you typically see. However the product does work and has no issues so I can't complain there.Customer Review: SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card

I bought a SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card thinking that I would have 8 GB of memory for my phone. When I installed the card in my Nokia 6301, the
memory readings were Size: 3.4 GB, Free Memory: 3.4 GB, Used Memory: 16.0 kB.
I contacted Straight Trading (Amazon's distributor), who told me that this is a common problem. My phone supports 8GB but the card must be formatted in a computer, not in the phone.
I asked that if I format it on a computer, then will it will register 8 GB. I was told yes to format it in SDHC compatible card reader, but that 95% of internal card readers (in computers and laptops) cannot read SDHC format.
Does anyone have a viable solution?

I went ahead and ordered this for my blackberry pearl because all the reviews said that they were getting all if not most of the 8GB card. I was very disappointed that after formating I only got 3.6GB out the the 8GB I just paid $50 for. So word to the wise, if you have a blackberry than beware, you may just want to get a smaller card at a lower price since this one doesn't give all it could on the blackberry. Shoot! I got 1.8GB out of my 2GB micro card I already had (which was also a scan disk). Needless to say I am disapointed in the product but not the seller. The seller was great. I was going to order this 8gb SanDisk Micro SDHC card which is a very good card but DO NOT purchase from Chi Tek they will charge you $16.98 for shipping of this item and each and every item. They had a special where for $1.06 you got a USB micro SDHC card reader supposedly for free you even see the $1.06 credited to your cart upon checkout, but upon further inspection they were charging me $33.96 for shipping, that's $16.98 shipping for the micro SDHC and $16.98 shipping for the supposedly free $1.06 card reader. Nothing but a bunch of RIP OFFS! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! AMAZON I would expect a little monitoring of your associates on trying to rip off YOUR consumers.
