Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Ultra Compact Flash 2GB Card (SDCFH-002G-A11) (Retail Package)Customer Review: Fast, large, and inexpensive Summary: 5 Stars
This card provides fantastic capacity and speed for the price offered. I've seen the exact same card at stores for over twice the price on Amazon ($31.93 when I purchased it at Amazon, $60-$80 at stores). Further, though I am using it on an very old camera (Nikon Coolpix 995), it appears to make the camera more response when taking pictures (though that could easily be my imagination), while allowing me to take far more pictures than I generally take (well over 4500 on lowest JPEG setting, over 1200 highest JPEG setting, and over 200 on TIF). All in all, a great card at any price, made even better by Amazon's low price. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Can never have too much memory Summary: 5 Stars
I thought that I was buying too much memory, but I always think that and then later think again. I bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi that does jpeg compression. What I didn't know at the time is that I would choose to use the RAW format as much as possible. Flipping that switch really turns on the power but the price is memory. Fortunately I can still capture 200 photos and then maximize them when I get them back to my PC. I had no idea how much difference it would make to start from the RAW, but now I know and I'm so glad I got the 2GB CF.
So if you're thinking about a high megapixel machine, spring for the memory.
Customer Review: Extreme even if it doesn't say so Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using this guy for more than a year now Closer to 2 i think.
I spend a lot of time in the great outdoors, and up in Northern Minnesota, that can cary a lot of weight. I spent more than 4 hours out in -25F (yes that's below 0)temperatures one day, and even though the card is not rated below freezing, it did its job without complaining. I captured some of the best images of my life that day, and the card survived to show me them that evening. I recently purchased an Extreme III 4gb card, and I cannot tell a speed difference or any other difference..
Well made and has been trouble free!
Customer Review: Very pleased with product Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the Sandisk 2GB CF card several weeks ago. The card gives no problem at all. I have been using Sandisk, Lexar and Kingston CF cards and this card is just as reliable as all others. Not the fastest, but presents no problem to me.
Amazon ordering and order fulfillment is very good on this and several other on-line orders. Not the lowest priced sometimes, but the small differences are well offset by the Amazon services.
I in paricular like their instant call-back when I needed to talk to someone.
Both the Sandisk 2GB CF card and Amazon are highly recommended.
Customer Review: 2.0 GB memory card Summary: 2 Stars
I bought a Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT camera with a 2.0 GB memory card. The camera has been great but the memory card turned out to be defective. I bought the camera and kit just before a trip to Yellowstone park. While there, I took almost 500 pictures and I reviewed them on the camera while out there. They looked fine. The trouble started when I got home and tried to transfer the pictures to my computer. I lost about 150 pictures because the files got corrupted while down loading. I tried another card I have and the pictues down loaded fine. I would highly recommend the camera but not the memory card.
