Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk ULTRA SDHC 8GB Class 4 Flash Memory Card SDSDRH-008G-A11Customer Review: Good product, works well Summary: 5 Stars
These SD cards have been really good to me so far. I use them in my Canon XSI and my Canon Vixia videocamera. I also use these as storage to transfer things from one computer to another if I don't have a flash drive around.
They are sturdy, fast, and have held up well. As far as SD cards go I have no seen any downsides to them. They have a lock on the side, but I have never used it so I cannot really comment on it. But to me, they were worth the money.
Customer Review: Beware: you won't get the card reader if "Straight Trading" is the seller Summary: 2 Stars
At the time I'm writing this, this chip is being fulfilled by an outfit called "Straight Trading", and the page claims that the price includes both the 8-gig chip and an SDHC card reader. But I only received the chip. When I complained about it to Amazon, they made good on it with their usual excellent service. Apparently, the chip+reader package was offered my a previous supplier, and the text is still on the page, even though Straight Trading doesn't honor it.
Customer Review: awesome SDHC card Summary: 5 Stars
I've used a few brands but had the best experiences with SanDisk. I used this in a Panasonic camera but also tried it in my Panasonic camcorder and the class 4 worked great with any speed issuing. I do recommend a class 6 for video as the class 4 may take additional time to save and start recording (none that I've noticed) but the transfer speed increase with the class 6 is noticable.
Customer Review: Lots of Room for RAW Images Summary: 5 Stars
A fast card that's able to hold about 470 raw images taken by my 10 megapixel Pentax K10D. Enough room for more than 1600 high quality JPEGs. It's nice not having to worry about carrying an extra memory card or deleting pictures during a trip just too free space to take another. Only had it the card for one month so I can't comment on reliability.
Customer Review: My Review Summary: 5 Stars
Place memory card in device, capture images, remove device, transfer images. Not much to it.
This card is great if you have an SLR that takes pictures fast. No wait. You can take steady pictures so you don't miss your shot.
If you have "issues" with this product, you might want to rethink your hobbies.
