Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Silicone Case for Sansa e200 (Gray)Customer Review: SanDisk E-Series Case Summary: 3 Stars
This case provides basic protection for your E-series Mp3 however it lacks any type of fastening device to attach it to your person or vehicle.
This problem can be easily remedied by cutting a 1 inch x 2 inch window in the back of the case then sticking a like size piece of male Velcro through the cut out to the back of the Mp3. You can then make a belt loop or arm band out of the female Velcro and attach the device to it. I just use mine while I am driving and find that the Velcro attaches it's self nicely to the cloth seat material in my truck.
Customer Review: Sansa silicone skin Summary: 5 Stars
I have 2 of these silicone skins (cases) for both our Sansa e260 players and they are very nice items. They fit snugly and offer great scratch and dent protection to every surface other than the screen and function wheel. There are convenient openings for all accessories except for any micro memory card that may be installed. If you wanted, you might be able to use a small razor knife to cut an opening slit to access this micro card. If you need screen protection applying one of those PDA protection films on the screen might be a good idea as well.
Customer Review: Look Ma, No Dings Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this case along with SanDisk Sansa e250 for under 10 bucks and it's already saved a few dings on the MP3 player; dropped it a few times on hard floors and the quality absorbed the shock and left SanDisk unmarked. It's easy to slip over the SanDisk and easy to remove. It's washable...gotta get that lint off, and in no way does it interfere with any of the SanDisk controls. I just need more color, so will be looking for a few more that I can switch out, depending on what color mode I'm in. Don't hesitate...BUY THIS DINGSAVER!
Customer Review: Not the best case Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this as an amazon recommendation but have found it to cause build-up of static electricity, causing the mp3 player to skip. For instance, the silicone can build-up static on the fabric of your car seat or the lining of a jacket pocket, so much so that tapping on the back or flicking the cover will cause an audible skip, just like a CD player. I found the most difficulty waiting on a train in Chicago, where electricty is high, but once I removed the silicone case the skipping stopped. Look for another, more protective case.
Customer Review: Good Stress Relief Summary: 2 Stars
Like others have said this puppy is a dust and hair magnet. It attracts stuff like flies to honey. It is good stress relief in that I enjoy squishing it up in my hands when I am having a bad day. It does not seem to have much latex in it as it does not trigger my latex allergy. It is soft and squishy and it does add some bounce protection for when you drop or bang your player. That is not enough reason to buy this item so just say no. If you want to protect from scratches buy a skin sticker instead.
