Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Sansa m250 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)Customer Review: MP3 At Its Best Summary: 4 Stars
Everybody today wants to own a MP3 player over anything else. Although many of us look for a quality one and its popularity, the quality must work just as well. Most of us though consider Apple and the popular Ipod series. Although it is convient and most accessories have been built around the MP3 player series, it hasnt really worked for every computer owner. Sansa, one of the most overlooked MP3 player series on the market, has absolutely delivered more simple and easy to enjoy MP3 players on the go, that works with more quality music download services like Napster and Musicmatch, and this MP3 player shows it.
The Sandisk Sansa M250 MP3 Player holds 2 GB of memory and music. The MP3 player is sleek and convient not just in the price, but the compatabilty. The device works great and in sync with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10, or higher. It also is easy to recharge on a single AAA battery that can last up to 19 hours, without waisting any money on your electric bill. You can also use this to play music from subscription sites like Rhapsody, and URGE, without any problems. The control is very easy to use and can easily work great on the go. You can use it to play as many as 800 songs in WMA files or 400 MP3 files. The menus are also easy to scroll through, if you want to playback a artist or a specialized playlist you've made.
I absolutely recommend Sandisk, because they have some of the best quality MP3 players on the market that really are worth their value for computer owners everywhere. While other want one where it is more about hype, The Sansa M250 delivers a convient price and delight for anybody who is new to MP3 music players. I love this series a lot.

Customer Review: Little Player that Can Summary: 5 Stars
I have several of the Sandisk Sansa in the style listed here. I know there are many other MP3 players on the market with much more storage capacity and I just have to say POOH on that. This little player is easy to use I have one full of my audible audio books others filled with music and no charged 1 simple triple A battery and I have at least 20 hours of play. For the price it is a great starter for those still unsure of what to buy. Although I do recommend the 2 gig version simply for the storage space.
My only negative comment is that the removal of items from the player isn't always easy it will show you it has been removed but the space won't be open.
Like I said 1 complaint isn't bad at all. The worst thing I have found is I misplace mine a lot:) But that's on me.
Trust me, I bought a very expensive Memorex Mp3 and it was the worst mistake of my life needed to charge constantly and the menu was a nightmare. My parents being parents got me an RCA MP3 for Christmas last year. Like the Memorex since both are charged via USB the battery never stayed charged as it should have.
I do not mind products such as the Sandisk Sansa that use actual batteries. They are reliable and easily replaceable some last several days if I use it a lot. My only wish was I could get one with about a 10 gig HD or better.
This little player has my love it fits all my needs and is easy to use, navigate, load and run. I love Audible and can say easily that I currently have one of my 2 gig Sansa's loaded with 15 unabridged books that is a lot of listening for my money. When I get a chance hopefully I'll be able to pick up a few more I love having these in my life small, portable and I can use it with computer speakers, mp3 speakers and no problem.
So if you are just starting out give this little guy a try:)
Customer Review: Functional but strange Summary: 3 Stars
My creative Labs Zen's navigation button broke after 2 years of use, so I had to buy a new MP3 player.
I was able to pick up this unit - SanDist Sansa m250 2 GB MP3 through Amazon for 29.99 plus shipping. The unit works, but I have a couple complaints:
Here is the bad.
1) Songs don't always alphabetize correctly; they seem to come close, but not exact.
2) The list of songs starts with a long list of title that begin with something like ". _01 songname". When I press one of these titles, the player goes through a seemingly random list of songs, and plays a seemingly random song. This is very strange.
3) This player eats batteries really fast.
I called customer service, and the person I talked to had an I.Q. no higher than that of a plant.
Here is the ok.
FM radio works, but to my knowledge has no presets. Also, to my knowledge, you can't record FM radio.
The player also has a stopwatch - something I probably will never use.
I have not been able to figure out how to use the playlist. This may be because I am using a Mac computer, and the player is looking for a Windows Media Player type playlist.
Technical support said that this machine works better with Windows operating system than with a Mac. If you are using a Mac this may not be the best choice for you.
Here is the good:
The player properly reads song tags, so you can find songs by artist, album, genre etc (if tags on your songs are properly input)
The voice recorder works.
The Equalizer works, and is easy to use.
I almost sent the player back because of the problems with not alphabetizing songs correctly, but I figured for $30, its not worth the hassle. If I had to buy another one, I would try something different, however.
Customer Review: I love this thing! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this MP3 player. It's nice to handle, a good size, not bulky or heavy. My elderly mother has the exact same model and even with her arthritic-ridden hands, she is able to operate this with ease. It's not too small and not too big. Perfect size. The BEST thing about this MP3 is that it runs on one triple A battery. No need to worry about not being near anything to recharge it or having to replace expensive recharge batteries, just throw in a new triple A battery from the drugstore and you are good to go. I listen to music and audiobooks all the time- I am a heavy user- and this thing runs for weeks on one battery. I like the plastic case it comes with, mine is over 5 years old and still looks brand new because of the plastic case I never take it out unless I am changing the battery. I love the armband because I can velcro this around my arm, leg, on the strap of my purse or anywhere it will slip through and it's out of the way but with me all the time. It's fairly easy to use, I did not have to use the software cd that was included, I plugged it into my laptop with the USB cable it comes with, and it sync'd itself to my windows media player. It was that simple. I also use the local library software for my audiobooks (overdrive media console) and was very easy to sync it to that as well. I am not that computer saavy so don't ask me how this thing sync'd itself to my laptop. It did. I can delete my books and my music through Windows Media Player and I have approximately 100 songs and 3 audiobooks on this thing right now and it is still only half full. This model apprently has been discontinued but you can still buy it on Amazon.com. I would recommend this to anyone that is not into teeny tiny itsy bitsy electronics, who needs something very uncomplicated and something that will last as long as you take care of it.
Customer Review: This One's A Keeper Summary: 5 Stars
I have quite a bit of experience with mp3 players, because I've had pretty bad luck with them, but the SanDisk Sansa M200 series (I own both the SanDisk Sansa M260 4GB MP3 Player (Blue) and this SanDisk SDMX3-2048 Sansa M250 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)) has proven to be the most reliable and user friendly, hands down. I have *never* had a problem with this series of player, as I have with *all* of the others I have tried in the past, which consistently break down within months. I really like the fact that it is difficult to accidentally press a button and the sync process has always run smoothly. You can pop in another AAA battery when you need to. This is nice because, if you take long road trips like I do and don't always have access to an electrical outlet, you don't have to go without your music. (That's why I don't care for rechargables.) Also, the player is easily reformatted and made "like new" using Windows Media Player. The subscription "PlayForSure" option works well (I've only tested it with Napster To Go on my Media Center 2005 Edition PC using Windows Media Player 11).
I've been using this series for about 1-1/2 years. There are also SanDisk Sansa M230 512 MB MP3 Player (Blue) and SanDisk Sansa M240 1 GB MP3 Player (Silver) versions, which I have not tried. This product is very well made. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend it.
