Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Sansa e200 Series 5-Piece Travel Case KitCustomer Review: some tweaks needed Summary: 3 Stars
I like the Idea of the modular sleeve and padded case. With the player in the sleeve it all fits nice and snug to avoid jostling. Didn't give enough room for a straight headphone jack while in case, though. Also would like to see an access hole to be able to plug it in through the closed case. The "accessory pouch" is good for the cleaning cloth but when trying to store earbuds in there, they get squished by the player. They should have made it just a bit thicker. For the money, this isn't to bad of protection until SanDisc starts coming out with more accessories. If anyone is listening, wouldn't mind something waterproof for kayaking.
Customer Review: Nice kit. Summary: 5 Stars
For the price, you actually get a good value. The small leather case is very nice and does a good job of protecting the e200 series. The only "bad" thing that can be said about this kit is that the small case is a little on the thick side, and it makes the already tiny buttons even harder to push. The screen protector is hard to attach, especially bubble free, but once it's done it completes the protection for the player very well. The large case is nice if you take it somewhere without using it, otherwise it's too bulky to carry around. The cloth is also very soft and cleans the player well. The lanyard, well, it's a lanyard.
Customer Review: Own a Sansa E series mp3 player? BUY THIS! Period. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my Sansa E 250 last summer & within a week I bought this to protect it. 9 months later my E250 still looks brand new and has no scratches, dings or anything. This was well worth the extra $35 investment at the time, and at Amazon's current $18 price, it's an even better deal! My soon to be teenage daughter wanted her "own" Sansa player for her upcoming birthday, and she's getting it, along with this wonderful protector kit. Who needs an iPod? The Sansa e series players blow iPods out of the water quality & feature wise, and this little beauty keeps 'em safe and damage free. Just buy it. You'll be glad you did.
Customer Review: Hubby Was Right Again! Summary: 5 Stars
When hubby purchased his SanDisk Sansa e280, I implored him to get an accessory kit with which he could protect his new gadget. Knowing that the product itself came with a soft case, he knew a hard case would work much better with his busy lifestyle. Well, that and the fact that it would be the perfect item for a klutz (we're both klutzes, actually). This was well-worth the money, though in hindsight I would have attempted to get it at the same time as the Sansa and from the same merchant to avoid double shipping charges. We would never regret this purchase and recommend it to to any new Sansa owner!
Customer Review: Screen cracked. Bad placement of logo Summary: 1 Stars
Well, my daughter had an e250 in this case in her backpack and the screen cracked which Sandisk says is not covered under warranty. The logo on the front of this case also protrudes into the inner part which just happens to match perfectly were the crack in her sansa was. I would not buy this if your plan is to protect your mp3 player.
BTW, her eyeglasses have been put in her backpack dozens of time and never cracked. Why? Because they were in a case much like this one was supposed to be. What I think is a design flaw Sandisk thinks is my dumb luck. Buyer Beware.
