I got this 5-piece travel kit just for the main case, I promptly gave the leather sheathe to my girlfriend who likes it a lot. I use the case to store the cord so I can use my player as a flash drive wherever I go. It works great and is a good size to fit in my coat pocket.
Another useful feature is that you can cut slits into the foam interior to use as storage for more micro-sd cards. You could fit maybe a dozen in this way if you wanted to. (I had been looking for a good MicroSD card case and hadn't found anything, now I'm no longer looking)
Pros:
The lanyard it comes with is high quality
The screen protector is easy to put on and doesn't slip off too easily
Both cases are high quality and durable
The cloth it comes with actually works very well
Cons:
With the USB cable and the headphones in the main case it's a bit of a squeeze but it closes and I'm glad it keeps the form factor down.
I don't think the MP3 player inside the leather sheathe will fit inside the main case... so it's a little less useful if you only want to use one or the other.

I was looking for something suitable to house my sansa, and this fit the bill better than most. The leather case is superb, looking sharp, snug and protective. I enjoy the fact you can still easily access the buttons and menus through it. Both the leather case and the larger case have an atachee on the back, if you wished to connect them to the cord that comes with it. The cleaning cloth works as well as any lense cloth, great for cleaning. The screen protector is a pain in the rear to apply without bubbles, still haven't figured out how yet, and I may trim it to make it more visually appealing. But, really, if you invest in a product such as this, it really makes sense to protect the easily scratched screen! The larger case is compact and protective, having a small storage area, yet the cover is a bit unsightly because of the cheap, generic looking Sansa logo. Only other complaint is that the leather case goes on a belt, but not as a removable type. Only if you put it on when putting on the belt, which can be impractical in some circumstances. This way, I suppose, it wouldn't be able to fall off.Customer Review: Probably your best choice if you're looking for protection

Well I recently purchased the 8GB sandisk and i'm not gonna risk letting my investment become broke or destroyed so I decided to buy this combo pack. The actual leather case is nice and protective, but i already owned a blue silicone slip over case, which seems to be a better fit.. but this one will be handy if anything ever happens to my silicone one. The non-scratch adhesive is nice, but i must have spent an hour removing and re-applying it to try to get no air bubbles... difficult to do, so when i finally got it down to 1 air bubble i decided to give in and leave it there.. better than the alternative: a scratch. The cloth serves well to clean the sansa, as well as any other similar surface. The big case, will more or less come in handy for a more permandent storage, or maybe if you tuck it into a suit case on a trip. All in all, if you're looking for protection for your sansa at the cheapest price.. this is your best dealCustomer Review: EXTREMELY NICE travel case

This is an EXTREMELY NICE travel case that allows storage of all the needed items. The leather case that the unit slips into is high quality, and fits the MP3 Player perfectly (and the control buttons are still accessible). Both the leather case, and the carry case have a belt loop and a "D" ring on the back for either strapping it on, or suspending around the neck with the included necklace cord (nice cord, too). The cord has an excellent latch clip on the end which provides a secure connection. The outer zippered case is internally padded, and has a "netting" compartment on the inside cover. One draw-back is that the "ear buds" can be tricky to position inside of the case, but it can be done. I feel that having the Player inside this case will provide extremely good protection from potential damage. This is a very inexpensive way that you can protect your SanDisk investment. I was in a hurry to get a case and ended up buying retail for $30. Wish I could have waited to get it online.
I do have to agree with other users on the leather cover and carrying case. The lanyard in this kit is way better than the one you get in the box with the player. I wore it while working out and it was very strong and I didn't worry about it falling off.
I am able to get my bud earphones in the carring case without it pressing on the player. I don't put them all the way in the pouch and position the buds on each side of the player. Zips up just fine.
As for the screen protector sheet, I guess I am a perfectionist, but I was able to get it on without any bubbles. Just take it slow and start from one end to another smoothing as you go. Do be careful with fingerprints--grasp on the edges.
