Customer Review: A tiny player that Rocks!
Summary: 5 Stars

This little player was a big surprise to me. Have you ever seen a super tiny electronic device that seems to do more than is possible for it's tiny size? Well, this certainly fits into that category. To illustrate how tiny this thing is, the size of the circular dial on the front of it (the blue glowing circle) is slightly smaller than a quarter. The player itself is super thin too. So here are a few more reasons why this player is amazing:

Pros:
-Super Tiny and Thin
-Sound quality is great
-Built in Radio
-Built in Microphone
-Built in Clip (hence the name) and perfect for jogging
-Super bright 2 color Led Screen (it's probably organic LED)
-Plug & Play (at least it was for me)... just like a USB drive
-Long lasting internal battery (my guess is at least 8 hours play time)
-Charges through standard Mini-usb to USB cable.
-Amazing price for all the features it includes.

Cons:
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this player, and I swear that I don't work for Sandisk. I kind of collect MP3 players and also own the Creative Zen Vision and Zen Muvo^2.

Conclusion: If you are thinking about buying an Ipxd shuffle or replacing your shuffle, this player is perfect for your needs and is so much better than a shuffle. It is easier to use, has more features, and sounds better! Not to mention it also has a LED screen. Plus, you don't have to deal with Itunes. Just plug this baby in, drag some songs from your computer and you're done. And yes, it does have a "Shuffle" play mode which includes "Repeat tracks" or "Play once" options. This little player really is a marvel of modern tech... I hope someday they will sell one with 60GB of memory. Now that... would Rock! For now, they only come in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB... I think.

Customer Review: This is about the 5th Sansa Clip for our household
Summary: 5 Stars

My wife and I are hooked on recorded books, which are available through an online library at no cost, using our library cards from our local public library. Over a period of three or four years we have each had a couple. We have lost some, and with the last couple we have had to replace, the namesake clip broke. Actually, in both of them the spring in the clip broke, not the clip itself. Fortunately, replacement costs have fallen over the years. My wife did search the internet for replacement clips but could not find any. We are extremely satisfied with the ease of using a Sansa Clip. Books are extremely easy to both load and erase. While most books from the library are WMA, recently MP3 books have been added. The Sansa Clip easily plays both types and it is transparent to the listener which type is being played. The 2Mb capacity suits both of us for listening to books. That is enough space for 8 or 10 complete books. The included ear-buds do not fit either of us. We each have our own preferences for replacements. We always purchase different colors to easily distinguish which belongs to who. I purchased the pink one for my wife as a Mothers Day gift. But I went with the free shipping and although I ordered at least 10 days prior to Mothers Day, it did not arrive on time.

Customer Review: FM radio, linux compatible - and supports ogg vorbis too!
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this bright pink Sansa 2GB clip as a fast and dirty replacement for an old, larger, but dying Rio Karma. I was happy to see that this device was accessible as a straight USB device, allowing me to use it fairly easily within linux. What blew me away was the UNDOCUMENTED fact that the player supports the Ogg Vorbis format (quite common in the linux world), meaning I didn't have to re-rip my giant Ogg collection. Also, it has a built in FM radio, documented not but particularly advertised. Over all, I got more features than I expected, and that makes me happy. Very happy.

Why Sansa doesn't bother mentioning anywhere that it supports Ogg Vorbis, I don't know. They should, they'd probably get more business from linux folks. Hmm, I haven't checked if it supports FLAC yet, maybe I will ...UDPATE: Yes, it plays FLAC too!

As far as quality goes - it seems fine to me, especially given it's a below 30 dollar player! Interface is decent, reasonably intuitive, if not particularly feature-filled. By my standards (about 5-10 years out of date!), it has a good battery life, about 10-plus, maybe over 12(I haven't checked closely) hours for music, I think shorter for radio.

Customer Review: average at best
Summary: 2 Stars

It's small and it works ok. The ear phones are average. I took the ear phones from my dead IPOD and the sound is good only after ajusting the equalizer base settings. If you use the preset equalizer settings the sound is poor. The USB charger cord supplied is only about 6 inches long which is not a big problem. The FM radio stinks! The ear plug wires act as your antenna so you constanly have to move them around to get the station to come in clearly. If your riding on a train or bus the stations are constantly fading out. Don't buy this for the radio feature because you will be very disappointed. It's about the size of a car key and that's a nice feature. Loading songs is a snap with drag and drop unlike the IPOD. My biggest complaint is that there is no owners manual that comes packaged with it. They supply a pack of seven cards with no detailed instruction on the navigation windows or anything else for that matter. Very poor documentation. You have to go to their website support page and search around and even then the info that should be included in an owners manual is not easy to find.
