The only thing I don't get about this product is why it is so hard to find, and why Sandisk hasn't yet introduced larger sizes.
Sandisk puts a lifetime warranty on these cards, but you'll probably never have to take advantage. I've been using cards from this series for over four years and have never had a single error (that was the card's fault.) If you want your photos to be safe, you use a Sandisk.
I've shot HD video onto these cards in both AVCHD (I think?) and AVI on several different types of camera and have yet to choke one. Quite simply, this card can handle anything you throw at it.
On the flip side (literally) the USB feature is simply priceless. No worries about compatibility of different card readers, or dealing with a cumbersome wire and using up batteries... flip it open, pop it in the USB, and it just plain works. I use it to share my photos before I leave a party, and it's literally a cool party trick. (So is "breaking" your SD card in half after you take it out of the camera.)
In the field, this card means one less thing to carry in my bag; I go straight from camera to MacBook Air, sometimes with a stop in the wallet where I carry a spare card. My wallet spare, with the USB built in, functions also as an ultrathin flash drive. Hard to beat.
These cards seem a little pricey when you consider than you can get larger capacity cards for less pretty easily, but in the end, no other card competes on value. You pay for quality and you pay for convenience.
Bottom line: Get this card. Get at least two of them, and really get a third because you're inevitably going to be guilted into giving at least one away to a family member or friend.
EDIT: One of my cards has finally failed, after two years of use. But, that's still only one out of the five that I have bought and used, and as it's covered by the warranty I expect the replacement to arrive soon.
