Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDH-002G-A11 2GB/15MB Ultra II SD CardCustomer Review: Save your money buy an off-brand Summary: 1 Stars
This card doesn't rate a single star. I purchased this fairly expensive card only to have it error out loosing 500+ photos of my big trip to China. I also had off-brand SD cards which did not fail and which cost a lot less. It is amazing that a chip can be so unreliable. I have emailed SanDisk twice asking if there is any possibility of data retrieval. After a week I have yet to receive any response from SanDisk. Buy an off-brand the quality and service can't be any worse.
Customer Review: Do not suggest to buy this card Summary: 1 Stars
When I opened the package, the secure lock was fell off from the card. I have to insert it in by myself. Not sure the card work at that time. Then I tried to insert the card to my camera and took a few pictures, it surprised me that this card works. Then I tried to take a few pictures of my kids, I couldn't tell that this is a ultra speed card. There is no difference between this card and my old card.
So I would not suggest to buy this card from this seller.
Customer Review: This is NOT an SDHC card, but it works fine Summary: 4 Stars
Sandisk's different "models" of SD cards do a good job of confusing customers -- even if you go to their site to check them out. The Ultra II is a good card (I've used it for a few days, with no problem), but a lot slower than the Sandisk Extreme or the Panasonic SDHC Class 6. Of the three, the only one my laptop's card reader can upload is this one (I got a Sandisk Micromate reader for the other two). So this card should work on any device that takes regular SD cards.
Customer Review: Lock Problem Summary: 1 Stars
I give this SD card a 1-star. Why? when I attempt to insert it into my laptop SD card reader, the mere act of this insertion causes the lock to switch to the engaged position, making it unreadable. The same happens on occasion in my Canon SD1000. Why would you put a locking mechanism on the device which would slide shut when inserting the card? Idiotic. It should be the other way around. Other than that, the card performed without incident. But this is a serious flaw.
Customer Review: Excellent product and price Summary: 5 Stars
If you need a Secure Digital memory card with lots of capacity, look no further. This brand is very reliable. I have four cards by the same company and have never had any problems with any of them.
The 2 GB capacity is great for digital cameras. "Ultra II" means that it has a higher transfer speed than the "regular" ones (which are blue). This comes in handy when you need high transfer speeds for large files... like digital pictures or music files.
