Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDH-002G-A11 2GB/15MB Ultra II SD Card

Customer Review: useless
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased the SanDisk Ultra II Secure Digital Card to use in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 camera because it was supposed to be much better than a regular SD card. Much faster transfer speed than standard card.
It is incompatible with this camera. I also couldn't get either my home pc or laptop to format the card. SanDisk techinical support basically said that they were sorry. Too bad! Nothing we can do about it.

Avoid the SanDisk 2GB Ultra II Secure Digital Card if you have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 camera.

Customer Review: Cheap and Effective
Summary: 5 Stars

Well, I bought this 2GB SD memory card for my digital camera (Canon SD-700IS). I paid $24.99 for it through Amazon. Don't waste your money paying for expedited delivery. I received my memory card within 4 days of placing the order. It arrived in perfect condition and installed in less than a minute. It works perfectly and will allow me not to have to download pictures each time I use the camera, as was the case with the 16MB card that came preloaded with my camera. What else can I say? It's cheap and it holds tons of pictures.

Customer Review: Great
Summary: 5 Stars

Holds 800 pictures in the 5 megapixel Panasonic DMC-LZ2. I took a eight pictures one after another. I asked Panasonic about whether a fast speed (20 MB/s) card would perform better. Panasonic said I probably wouldn't notice a performance difference using a faster speed card like the Extreme. So, the Ultra gives the best bang for the buck in the Sandisk line.

I went with the 2 GB card so my better half doesn't have to change cards on her trip. I own several Sandisk Compact Flash cards, which have never hiccuped.

Customer Review: Just what I expected
Summary: 5 Stars

After buying a 1GB Ultra II card for my Canon A620 camera last year, I wanted a larger card for longer movies, and keep the old card for backup. Since the A620 is limited to 2GB of memory, this is the biggest card I could buy. The 2GB Ultra II card has been rock solid after one month of use. Downloads and refreshes are reasonably fast, though I only have the 1GB card to compare with. I would purchase this product again. My only reservation is that SanDisk did not make a bigger (4GB or 8GB) that would work in my camera.

Customer Review: Great addition to my Palm Treo-650 uber-cellphone!
Summary: 5 Stars

2 gigs really gives my Treo-650 room for a lot of MP3's and MMPlayer movies. Up to 8 full-length movies on a single SD card! I had to buy CardExport (turns the Treo-650 into a fancy SD to USB card adapter) because all of my existing SD to USB adapters couldn't correctly handle the big card. Now I can hardly wait for even bigger SD cards to come out!

***BE WARNED THAT NOT ALL DEVICES AND SD TO USB ADAPTERS CAN HANDLE THIS BIG CARD. CHECK WITH THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE BUYING!!***
