Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDH-002G-A11 2GB/15MB Ultra II SD Card

Customer Review: This card has problems
Summary: 1 Stars

I have used Sandisk Ultra 1GB card for my Canon S2 IS camera earlier, but needed more space. Inspite of some poor ratings, I bought the Sandisk Ultra 2GB (and not the 2GB Extreme which I was planning to). Though I CAN view all the photos I copied from the camera to my PC, Ringo Uploader won't upload all of them, there are some (around 50%) "BAD FILES", which means I'll have to upload them manually. Yeah, manually uploading works, so the software that verifies whether the file is okay, is giving the error. Bottomline is: this card does not work as seamless as the 1GB Ultra card. I will not recommend this product. Try other cards out there.

Customer Review: SanDisk Ultra II Good Product

SanDisk SDSDH-2048-901 2 GB Ultra II Secure Digital Memory Card ( US Retail Package )

This is a good fast card. I have two Kodak cameras each using a 2 GB card and I have no problems to report. I have purchased other SanDisk products in the past and I can't remember having a problem with any of them. Keep up the good work!

I have heard that using a card larger than 2 GB can slow down a camera but I have no proof of that; in fact I have never used a 4GB card as 2 GB seems to be plenty of memory.

Customer Review: nice and fast
Summary: 5 Stars

This card really is faster in my camera, the Canon Powershot SD450. Definite speed difference, noticed between shots and also when erasing photos. Suggest that you remember to turn off "picture review" if you really want to zoom from one shot to the next.

Canon advises reformating every new memory card before use, which I did, although this card worked fine out of the box.

Also suggest to check with your product regarding the maximum size and speed for your prospective memory card purchase. For my camera, 2 gig is the limit, and some of the new super-fast formats won't work.

Customer Review: I almost got rid of my camera because of this card.
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this card along with my Pentax Z10, thinking that I should get a good card to go with my brand new (however CHEAP) camera. Well, due to the fact that this at the time was a little more expensive then your typical SD cards, and my camera was a LOT cheaper then your typical point and shoot, I thought the reason for the grainy pictures was my camera. Especially since a few other people had complained about grainy pictures as well. As it turns out, it was this card. This super duper high speed card just got transformed into a flash memory card, because it works TERRIBLY as a card for your camera.

Customer Review: Good for the money
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using this card for about 4 months with no problems. It's been fast enough for my Canon Powershot s5 IS ... both for video's & continuous shooting. Since it is only SD NOT SDHC it works with all my older card readers.

For the money this was a great buy since I didn't need the latest & greatest. I prefer to use several smaller capacity cards & not to put all my pictures on 1 card just in case something happens to it.

If you shoot a lot of video or RAW files you may be better off with a higher capacity card. If not this a good card at a reasonable price.
