Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDH-002G-A11 2GB/15MB Ultra II SD CardCustomer Review: Big and fast! I love it. Summary: 5 Stars
At first I was going to purchase 2 of the 1Gb (in case of failure) capacity cards, but decided to go with this instead. I am on the Nikon D80 waiting list and am buying the accessories I need before I get it. I have only used SanDisk flash memory cards in all my cameras and have never had a failure.
To the reviewers that gave the 1 star reviews because of failure, don't forget that this card comes with a lifetime warranty. Send it back and get a new one.
UPDATE - 12Dec06
We took this card and new D80 on Thanksgiving vacation to Disney. Both performed flawlessly! I was shooting RAW+JPG fine and the writes were very fast. I averaged about 65 pictures (130 files) and had a little space left at the end of each day. Transfer to the computer was quite fast as well. I would buy another without hesitation.
Customer Review: NEEDS TO BE FORMATTED! Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this scancard for my daughter's digital camera for an upcoming trip. At first we could not get this SD card to work. Thankfully, I checked it out before she left.
For some reason, it needed to be formatted to the camera. For my camera it would not have been a big deal. For my daughter who had video, saved pics and other info, it was a very big deal. She lost all her stuff. When you format, everything saved goes. She was not a happy person.
However, she was happy that she was able to take many many pics while on vacation and the speed was a lot better. Yet she still complains of her lost videos.
Be careful which SD cards you buy, we did not have to format the last one and I am confused as to why this one needed it. I gave it 4 stars because this 2.0 is fast and makes you happy with the amount of pics that can be taken.
Customer Review: SanDisk SD RAM - You Can't Have Just One! Summary: 5 Stars
These SD's are fast, reliable, and very affordable. I learned the hard way not to skimp on the memory cards and lost part of an event. The Ultra II's are a great buy!

Customer Review: Great SD card! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great SD card. I used it for my month long backpacking trip to Europe, and it easily stored all of my photos and videos. Using my 5mp Kodak camera, I got roughly 1300 photos of storage space, and over and an hour of video space. Never had any formatting or data loss problems, although I don't recommended maxing out any memory card. Just because this can hold over 1,000 photos, doesn't mean you should try. I have heard horror stories of people who think that they can just keep taking pictures with these large capacity cards and never upload the photos to their computer, and then one day the card breaks for whatever reason and they lost months worth of photos. This and other 2gb+ cards are great, just make sure to upload your photos often to reduce the risk of photo losses.
Customer Review: Great card for Canon S80 Summary: 5 Stars
I've heard people having problems with this card using older cameras and readers. I've taken 3500 pictures with my Canon Powershot S80 and have never had a problem. I download my pictures using a Lexar 7 in 1 reader. I never use the camera software since it's half-baked and designed for newbies who lack access to Photoshop, it's browser or the bridge.
Before deciding not to benefit from the extra space this 2gb card offers, check your camera manufacturer's site to see if your camera is compatible. Most older camera's and readers will not work with this card and those that do, usually require you to format the card in-camera before you use it.
Great storage space for vacations. I might need to get a second card.
