Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDB-1024-A10/11 1 GB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package)

Customer Review: 1GB SanDisk
Summary: 5 Stars

Why they even sell cameras with a 16MB memory card is beyond me as it is good for less than 20 pictures of poor quality - put at least a 128 and give the buyer a bit more picture capacity. 1GB gives me more than enough memory to take 100's of pictures at the highest quality. I can take as many pictures as necessary, review them and save only the best still having room for 100's more. Don't buy anything less than 1Gig, the price differential between smaller sizes and the 1Gig is not worth it.

Customer Review: WHat;s there to say
Summary: 4 Stars

What can i say, it's a flash card and it works. I've never had any problems with brand name compact flash, XD, or SD flash cards. Same with this one. In my opinion, always go with brand name for reliability and support. Make sure you format the card when putting it into your digital camera for the first time to prevent any weird file formatting errors or anything like that. Good card, works well, speed is decent. IT would get 5 if it had a Higher read/write speed but hey good value for money.

Customer Review: Mine seems faulty.
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought one of these from my local Fry's Electronics brand new. It seemed like a great deal with the price and all, but as I filled my card up with data, it seems to have some defective areas that corrupt my data. I think I'm going to have to try to get a replacement.

This corruption happens both when I'm using it on my PC with a USB SD Card reader I got from OfficeMax or on my Sharp Zaurus SL-5600 PDA. I don't remember my old 128MB Kingston SD Card having any trouble like this.

Customer Review: Awesome Memory Card
Summary: 5 Stars

The San Disk Secure Digtal card is a wonderful memory card that has space, quick access to files, and is convenient. The memory card has about all the space you need if you are using it with a digital camera and doenst need to be emptied after every batch of pictures. Also, the small size of the card makes it very handy, and with the lock data latch the card is virtually untamperable if you don't want to accidentally delete any files. This product is terrific and i recommend it to anyone!

Customer Review: Locked Card Errors
Summary: 5 Stars

I had one episode of a "locked card error" and did an on line search for answers. I found one review that said you have to take the card in to have it fixed. However, if you look at the side of the card there is a tiny tiny sliding plastic switch that is a different color than the body of the card. If this is accidently moved to the locked position the card is locked. All you have to do to unlock the card is slide this switch back. The card works great and I have no complaints.
