Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDSDB-1024-A10/11 1 GB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package)Customer Review: SanDisk products are great, 1 GB is the best! Summary: 5 Stars
Hello,
Almost all the cards I use are SanDisk. My cards never fail me, nor do they take too long to find the images I want or be ready to record. Another thing about this product is the 1 GB size. This si so much memory you will probably never ever run out of room to take pictures, unless you're taking video, which eats up tons of space...even better to have a big card. Overall I highly recomend this card and perhaps us all going to SD, it's just a better format than Compatct Flash and the others. In the end take care, you'll love it.
Customer Review: Mixed quality Summary: 3 Stars
I ordered two of these cards. One is fine but the other seemed to disintegrate after just a month or two of use. The connector end of the card crumbled into tiny bits of plastic and metal and the card was no longer readable in any device. I ended up replacing the card with another manufacturer's card.
I've also trouble reading these cards in my PC's SD reader slot. Perhaps it is because they are high speed cards? My camera does fine with it so I have resigned myself to using the USB cable to get photos off the card via the camera.
Customer Review: Sandisk Secure Digital Summary: 5 Stars
I am very satisfied with the product. Bought 4 of these cards from Amazon, and amazon is very prompt in its delivery and the packing is great too.
I trust Sandisk, hence, I chose SAndisk over all other brands.
1 drawback - time taken to access the pictures, and/or click consecutive pictures is a little larger than a smaller capacity card (being 1 GB).
Advantages - Chances of corruption is very minimal. I tried every possible way to transfer data, and format the card. But it never failed me :)
Customer Review: SanDisk 1 GB Secure Digital Card: Fast & Reliable. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a SanDisk 1 GB Secure Digital Card for my Palm Tungsten E2, and I couldn't be happier with the performance of the card. You take the card out of its case, stick it in your PDA or camera, and you're set up to go. Simple as that. Using this with my PDA, I can store hundreds of songs, and hundreds and hundreds of photos. If you play music files and view photos on your PDA, get nothing less in size than a 1 GB card. This card is fast and reliable, and I highly recommend it for either your digital camera or your PDA.
Customer Review: Was not compatible. Summary: 3 Stars
I have an old mp3 player and unfortunately the memory card was not compatible with my device. Amazon was great about sending a replacement and then accepting both disks as a return when I found out that there was just a compatability issue.
Technical service with sanDisk was another story. they make you sign up for some weird e-box thing and then it takes them forever to evaluate the problem. It was a waste of time.
FYI: A cheaper Kingston card did work for my old (2002) mp3 player.
