Customer Review: My experience with San Disk cards has always been positive

The 1 GB card I purchased is one of 7 San Disk cards I own. I have never had any problems with them. The only difference I can spot is that the 1 GB card does save slower as it fills up than a comparable one I have from a different manufacturer. It is not a noticeable difference unless you are excessively impatient or taking lots of quick shots. My remedy is to unload the card after each picture-taking adventure. I do not store on digital card so usually have no more than a few music files and 40-50 pics on a card at a time. No problems with failures or errors on these. The product's fine, I just have a dispute with the technical details.
A 10-foot fall to the floor would hurt. 2000 G's would leave less than a greasy smear. Think about it, if a 150lb person was exposed to a force of gravity 2000x greater, they would weigh 300,000lbs. On the same frame, in the same amount of "material". A 2000G shock, or impact, would create worse damage as that entire force would be centered on the spot impacted instead of distributed across the item.
Maybe they just don't have a clue about physics. Maybe they are flat out lying. I suspect the latter...

When you are buying a new camera, don't forget to get more memory. After taking approx. ten pictures, we were out of basic memory in our new camera. Thank goodness we had remembered to bite-the-bullet up front and include the purchase of the 1GB digital card, with the camera package. Don't settle for the cheaper and smaller card, you'll soon realize that the gig is the way to go!! Especially when you are on vacation and away from your computer or printer and you always want to have memory room for that last important picture, however many "last" pictures become before you get home.Customer Review: Perfect!

As technology moves forward, it seems to get harder to find what we need at local stores. They move out or discontinue the older stock to make room for the new. Thats whats so great about shopping on line. I drove around for a week looking for this item to no avail. Went on line and there it was. I could have saved time and gas if I'd shopped here first. I needed this memory card for my digital camera and found many choices on Amazon.com. Ordered it and had it in the camera in just over a week. The card is brand new. Exactly what I was looking for. The SanDisk 1 GB SD card worked perfectly and is fast enough that I did not have any problems with using it for my Casio camera. I read one review on this card when the reviewer was unhappy because his card would only hold a small number of files which was not nearly the capacity of the card. The SD card functions like a removeable hard drive. The root directory of a hard drive will only allow a limited number of files. You have to create at least one folder on the SD card and that folder will allow the entire capacity of the card to be stored in it.
