Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDDR-103 MobileMate SD+ 5-in-1 Mobile Reader (SD/ MiniSD/ MMC/ RS-MMC/ TransFlash, Retail Package)Customer Review: Not a good product Summary: 1 Stars
Sandisk usually makes good stuff but the MobileMate SD+ doesn't fall into that category. After using it with a TransFlash card no more than 12 times the unit would not recognize the card without constant pressure on it - presumably to make proper contact inside the unit. Needless to say this is unacceptable so now I am off to find another reader for my TransFlash cards. I was skeptical of this before I even bought it and now I know why - I like to stick with PCMCIA card readers for my laptop and will be looking for one of those now.
Customer Review: Gadget Guy Summary: 5 Stars
This product is great! I can move all my music from my PC to my cellphone with the help of this 5 in 1 mobile reader. It is easy to use, and there are no extra drivers to find. After I plugged it into the USB port on my computer, it was recognized instantly! I didn't have any problems. It was so fast and easy. I simply put my MicroSD card into its sleeve, and then the sleeve is inserted into the side of the reader. There's enough room. I couldn't be happier. It worked great and now I can listen to all my music on my phone.
Customer Review: Massive Memory For a Great Price Summary: 5 Stars
This tiny piece of plastic with metal contacts packs more whallop than you could imagine. Sure, memory geeks like me may find little things like this more awe-inspiring than the next...but practically speaking it is good for more than just the techno geek. What this large amount of memory provides is a way to store tons of pictures, movies, ringtones, etc. over a long period of time...and then you can "dump" it onto your computer. The other thing you can do with it is store a lot of music to play on your phone...
Customer Review: great Summary: 4 Stars
I love this thing, it's fast, and small. i've been taking it with me everywhere i go for months, even gotten it wet once and it always works fine. i just leave my memery card in it and it stays in there fine. and when i need to get the photos off my camera i just switch the disks. this connects to your computer in seconds and you can just pull it out when you're done without looseing any data (as long as you aren't using any of the files when you pull it out). i never disable it or eject it properly.
Customer Review: Small, Inexpensive and Works Well Summary: 5 Stars
Not expensive, works very well -- zero problems with my Mac, my PC with Vista, and my Linux laptop -- and saved me money too (my phone service had a much more expensive and troublesome solution.) It even comes with a USB extention cord to make it easier to plug into a USB hub. Its also small (I uploaded a picture of the MobileMate SD next to a cell phone for scale.) Just plug a card into the MobileMate SD, plug the whole thing into your computer's USB outlet, then drag and drop. I'd buy it again.
