Customer Review: Err 2 Message with my Canon 40D

After taken some pictures I received an "err 2" message. I talked to Sandisk tech support to try to resolve the issue and did not have any luck (after about a hour on the phone). After a couple days of waiting for my claim to be approved I received a "cannot approve your RMA at this time because we don't have proof of purchase on file with Sandisk" This would have been nice to know at the beginning and not 2 days later! I think they do this on purpose. Another point is..Sandisk makes you open a Ebox with them to process your return and they are suppose to EMAIL you when there are updates. I never got an email!!
I am now waiting to see if I can even get this returned or not? This is the second time a Sandisk has malfunction on me. I don't recommend buying Sandisk to anyone. This will be the last one I ever buy!!!

This card is simply amazing. It can keep up with shooting continuous RAW images and combined with the SanDisk Firewire reader, loading it onto your computer is a snap. With 4GB, I took roughly 420 RAW images at 10 megapixel on my Xti. Of course that number will depend on what ISO you used and how many megapixel you have on your camera. I could not be any happier with this product. But a word of caution. Before I bought a brand new 4 GB Extreme IV card, I got one refurbished from amazon warehouse and it was defected. Amazon promptly accepted my return and refunded me accordingly. I advise just getting it brand new even though it's a little pricey. It's worth it.Customer Review: Great storage card for my D200

I previously used the Ultra II card, and this one tops it in all ways. I can take way more photos in one go than before, which is especially useful for wildlife photography, sports and the like. Like a previous reviewer, I also get a higher number of shots with this card on my D200 than with the previous, faster write speed means the cpu uses slightly less power on each shot. Fast read speed, so copying my full sized high res images to the comp isn't nearly as tedious as with my previous card. I wouldn't recommend testing it out, but mine has also shown to be very durable, through drops, spills and other various accidents.Customer Review: Extreme Compact Flash Card

I've been using Sandisk brand CF cards for a few years now and for the most part the cards have worked well for me. I decided to upgrade to this new edition since the price was great and I like to try new products. The only downside to this product is the recovery software that comes with it. I can't say I've had much luck with it. It recovered images one time and one time only. I've lost over 400 RAW image files b/c this software failed to work properly. I've even written to sandisk customer service and received no reply which I find to be very unprofessional. It's a shame.Customer Review: Solid Product, Great Performance

I have had this CF Card for five months, and it has performed perfectly. Very fast, lots of storage, and zero problems. I have a Canon 400D (XTi) and this card writes 10mb RAW files as quick as the camera can make them.
Comes with a soft padded case, and w/ the reader bundle I purchased, the reader has similar great performance. The firewire reader has two benefits in my mind, one is the performance, which is very fast; and it doesnt use a USB port. It came with recovery software that I havent used, but its nice to know its there.
