Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Micro Secure Digital 2 GB Memory Card (SDSDQ-2048-A10M) Retail PackageCustomer Review: Great Product Summary: 4 Stars
It works like it's descrribed. I got it for my LG Chocolate phone. I see that many people are having propblem putting music to get to work but what they are doing it wrong is first of all you insert the card to the phone to create the folders that you need. Next, connect it to the computer and when you transfer the musics in the music folder, do not put it in any sub-folders. All the songs, pic or videos cannot be in the sub-folder. They can only be on that direct folder. For example, "music1.mp3" can only be in the "Music" folder. Not "Music/Music1" folder. Goes same for pic and videos.
Only bad thing is that since it's so small, it lacks the speed. Will take a bit to fill up the whole 2 GB. But it is worth it.
Customer Review: Does the job. Summary: 4 Stars
I needed a 2 GB to use to store MP3 lectures on my phone to study in my spare time. I got a free USB card reader with this card and it only loaded a few 1000 MB and then it started saying it could not load more. I was easily able to load what I wanted by connecting my phone to the computer. I would have assumed that was a problem with the card reader, but then the reader worked fine when I used it to load some files onto my old Kingston 1GB. Other than that I have been perfectly happy with it. I just really wanted it to work with the card reader. I often want to load while I am at our co-op and I do not want to install the drivers/programs for my phone on the co-op computer. But overall it works good.
Customer Review: Perfect for the money Summary: 5 Stars
When trying to find extra memory for my phone and mp3 player, I looked at several stores. I was shocked to find out that Amazon had the same 2Gig memory for far less in price. Some stores are charging $25-$40 for the same thing. Make sure you take the time to read your owner's manual on what kind of memory your item takes, or can handle. I plugged the card right into my phone from the pack, and it was ready to go, already stored into my phone. I will be looking to add a 4Gig card to my mp3 player and will also purchase the Sandisk since my mp3 is by the same name. Great product, just make sure you research what your item can handle. Seems to be a big problem in some of these posts.
Customer Review: Do your homework on this one prior to buying Summary: 2 Stars
I purchaesd this card for my new Nokia cell phone so I could download music and use the cell phone as an MP3 player.
All worked well until I filled 1/2 of my new 2g card, and then it would not accept any more info.
SanDisk is pretty much impossible to get on the phone and so I will probably never be able to utilize the entire capability of the card.
However, the price was so good that I am still getting a reasonable return on what I paid for it.
Just be careful and know what our equipemtn capabilities are and how they will all work together prior to purchasing this for your use. You may end up in the same situation I am in.
Customer Review: Powerful little bugger Summary: 5 Stars
Incredibly small, this card is perfect for my Sansa MP3 player. As I intend on upgrading my phone as well, I will be able to use it there too. The adaptor for the computer slot is good thing to have, too. It is really unbelievable how much stuff can be saved in 2 (tiny) GB, and how wonderful is to be able to take all the music and pictures anywhere! Although, I must agree with others, one should be careful when handling it. One disadvantage I can see is being so small, if I ever lose it it is going to be like looking for the needle in the hay stack... SanDisk is a good brand, I have not had any problems with their products.
