The card arrived in a timely fashion. I tested it in my Canon 5D. No problems in taking pictures or transferring them to my computer - Mac Powerbook G4. I haven't experienced and data loss or transfer problems mentioned by other reviewers and find the card completely satisfactory up till now. I have used the Extreme II cards before with satisfactory results as well. The Extreme III seems to be slightly faster in memory cycle time. My 5D has an internal buffer so the effect in most shooting situations is not profound. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the uncertainty raised in some of the other reviews I read - time will tell.Customer Review: SanDisk for me

I own three Lexar cards and all the rest, and there are a lot of them, are SanDisk. I have NEVER had a SanDisk card fail.. can't say the same for the other guys. 2 of the 3 Lexars I own have all failed and their customer service is horrible. Will never buy another Lexar product again. SanDisk has been flawless for me and I use them daily.
Hope they keep the quality level up... and one more thing.. maybe someone can ask them to skip the fancy packaging and save the consumer a couple of bucks per card. If it came in brown cardboard I wouldn't care...
it just has to work and work well... which they already do.

I have always used Sandisk Compact Flash and SD cards and never had a problem with any of them in either my Panasonic camcorder, Canon SD630 POS or my Canon 40D dSLR. Never thought to write a review.
Recently I accidentally put my CF card in the wash with my jeans and when I finally went looking and relaise what I did I was freaking out. I thought I'd lost all my daughters 2nd birthday photographs.
I shook the card to get out any remaining water and ran to plug in into a my generic multicard reader and was AMAZED that it stills worked. I got ALL my photographs. It is truely rugged. Money well spent!!!

Contrary to the rating given by the previous reviewer, having a camera that is incapable of keeping up with the speed of the card is not a basis for a mediocre rating on the card itself. I've got an EOS 20D and I find this card much faster than my 512 Mb Sandisk Ultra II card. I highly recommend the card for those with cameras that have a high speed buffer. It allows many more pictures in a burst than the manufacturers claim because they base their estimates on slower cards. This card is well worth the money if you shoot a lot of high speed activities like sports, racing, airshows, fast moving animals, etc.Customer Review: Simply Wonderful

It's Difficult to make a drawn out, detailed review for this product.
Simply because its exactly what they say it is: fast, accurate , reliable data storage. Ive used it in the snow , and in the blistering Arizona dessert, pared with my Xti. I have NEVER had any issues with it, ever. So far I have had 3,000 + images taken, most in raw. The box came with a good quality key chain to hold another memory card and a well built plastic case to hold it.
Should I ever need another memory card , or need to recommend a card to a friend , this will be the first , and only memory card on my list.
