I bought this CF card as a replacement for the dying hitachi microdrive
in my Palm Lifedrive organizer - it was a little hairy and technical
to replace, but the data on the microdrive moved over to the CF
card and now I have extended battery life and a much quieter
Palm Lifedrive device. Not for the faint of heart, but I can report
that this CF card has the correct geometry (Cylinders/Heads/Sectors-per-track)
to support the Lifedrive firmware.

Besides being faster than a lot of other CompactFlash cards, this one also comes with a few exclusive perks. 1) Higher operating tolerances (temperature and shock) than pretty much any other card, 2) Recover software on a mini CD (you know for your other memory cards), 3) A little neoprene(like?) case that zips up two CF cards.
So even if you camera can't make use of the card's really high speeds, the extras may make the extra costs worth while.

The Olympus E-500 is known for being able to write to CF cards very fast. This card - as advertised - is very fast. I chose this card specifically because of the camera's ability to write fast and my desire to use RAW format - which on this camera is about 13mb per picture. While I don't use it for sports or drive mode, it easily keeps up with multiple shots in a row. The 4gb capacity also helps with so many big files! It's the perfect card for this camera.Customer Review: Reliable

What kind of review would you put for an item like this? The best review would be "Gee...I never thought about it". And thats exactly how I feel. This is an unsung hero of photography. I just expect it to work, and I expect it to work every time. This little fella does just that. I have never filled it completely, the 4 gig is enough for me. When I grab my camera, its not holding me back. Thats about all I can ask from a memory card.
I love it.

I ordered three of this item. They sent all fake ones. The cards do not have serial number anywhere and they are not working. I formatted them and did everything but still not working. The enclosed CD also does not have serial number. I talked to SANDISK costomer service. I sent photo of this cards and boxes. SANDISK sent a letter confirmed that these cards are not authentic.
