Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Extreme HD Video 8 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDRX3-8192-A21

Customer Review: The speed is look like another no brand card
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this card for my canon G11 new camera, but the speed is the same when saving RAW images(10 Megas), and for the time when reviewing pictures at the camera the are really slow.

When importing pictures to a Windows PC yo wont see the speed much faster that any other brand. I suggest to buy other brand rather than this one.

I own a Kingston Class 2 and the speed is almost the same.

Customer Review: Still going strong
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this card back in January '09 when I bought a new Canon SX110IS camera. This card works like a champ. I've had no problems with it. And it gets a workout since I remove it and put it in my computer when transferring photos. I bought the Extreme III 4Gb first, now it's a backup for vacations, etc. I highly recommend this little speedster for your photo, video, or file needs.

Customer Review: Great item
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm using this card (with the associated reader) with my Canon XSI. While the speed of the card exceeds the requirements of the camera, the fast read speed is a real boon when I need to move hundreds of RAW image files to my PC. The included reader is required for this, as the SD reader in my PC cannot handle this SDHC card. Very happy, I love the fast read speed this card supports.

Customer Review: Write Speeds ~ 14 MB/s v Transcend's 4.5MB/s
Summary: 5 Stars

I baselined one 8GB SDHC Extreme iii 20MB/s card against two of Transcend's 8GB SDHC class 6 cards and found the write speeds to be 3x as fast. I copied both 100MB and 600MB folders to the Extreme iii card in 8 sec and 41 sec respectively yielding roughly a 14MB/s write speed. Transcend's cards required 23 & 25 sec to write a 100MB folder yielding roughly a 4.5MB/s write speed.

Customer Review: Great Card... WITH MicroMate
Summary: 5 Stars

This card is GREAT. It definitely keeps up with my Nikon D80 (something my now back up card - starts with a T - could not do). Mine came WITH the MicroMate reader and the RescuPro software. The difference with me and the other reviewers is that I got mine from Adorama Camera. So if they have it offered (they did not at the time of writing this), I would check with them.
