Customer Review: Great product, with a few annoyances

I got this dock to hook up to my theater system. It looks nice, and does exactly what it is supposed to do and it does it well. There are however some minor annoyances that wouldn't be so annoying if I hadn't paid what I did for this.
1. Power cable easily disconnects from back of dock.
2. Base needs more weight in it, moves around too easily.
3. Remote and Base collect more finger prints than dust.
4. Remote seems as if it needs to be pointing directly at the front of the unit and can only be used at no more than 10'. The further away you are the harder it is to get the base to pick up the signal.

This little adapter is great. It's nice and compact and fits basically anywhere. Setup is simple and quick. The only thing I've found is that the remote could have been made better. The signal doesn't always go through the first time. I would reccomend leaving your backlight on always while using the base station. And I also agree that a scroll option would've have been nice. AND, recharging the remote would've been a big improvement. But otherwise, it's awesome. There aren't too many products out there for the "non-iPod" mp3 players, so, this is defenitely a great product.Customer Review: great product for home listening

As the other revier states this item has a few drawbacks mainly if you use video! Over all I love mine, I use it in my bedroom to charge my sansa and connect it to my stereo it does both perfectly! I mostly use my sansa to listem to a mix in shuffle or my on the go lists and sometimes full albums, if you have your player loaded with content in this manner this device will work great for you, set it up to play all on the sansa then you can manuver through your music as you please! I dont use the video function so that functionality dosnt intrest me or impact my reviewCustomer Review: SanDisk Docking Station

This is a great device and works pretty much as advertised. It provides charging for the unit as well as the audio connections to an external sound system. It also has a USB port for syncing with a computer, but I don't use that feature because the workstation is on the other side of the room from my audio system. The docking sttion also comes with a small remote which gives you the usual play-pause-skip functions as well as volume control. Installation was easy and straightforward and so far the unit has been working consistently and reliably.Customer Review: Sansa Base Station is just what I was hoping for

It took less than five minutes to connect the base station to my stereo and it's everything that was advertised. I had to mess with the equalizer on my stereo and my e260 , but the sound is great. I didn't find any problems with the remote either. I did not find that you had to point it directly at the base station. I turned my back to the base station and pointed the remote away from it at about 30 feet away and it worked just fine. I give the unit five stars because it is exactly what was advertised and works just great.
