Despite being advertised as for Windows and Mac OS X, this flash drive has a software-based fingerprint scanner setup. As such it requires Windows 2000 or XP, I understand that Vista is not supported, to scan the fingerprint and allow access to the memory card.
Also, since it is just a piece of Windows software which controls access to the card, it probably isn't especially secure. I'd treat it as a "if someone I know borrows the card and sticks it into their PC, they won't be able to read it" rather than "no one can get the contents of my USB drive without also taking my finger."
