In my opinion SanDisk makes the best quality CF cards you can buy. This one is no exception. That said, CF cards are becoming hard to find. Retailers don't stock them anymore, but you can get them by mail order. It seems all the newer cameras use SD cards in one size or another. CF cards are physically much larger than SD and the connector pins are more fragile than the printed metallic tabs on SD memory. All of which is irrelevant if your device requires CF.Customer Review: SanDisc delivers quality

I purchased this card to use in a Reconyx game camera. It works great and no problems with formatting, writing or reading. In my application this disc should easily hold 15-20K pictures.
There are many cheap compact flash cards on the market but a high percentage of them are bad from the start or have very short life spans. If you need quality digital media it is hard to go wrong with SanDisc products.

This is the best value in an 8 gig card. I've bought a couple super fast generic cards and they are slooooow. False advertizing. I will stick to name brands. I'm using this in a Nikon D2X and D200 and the card is plenty fast. It will empty a full buffer of 25 raw images in one minute, plenty fast for me. Faster brand name cards might be faster but more money. For me this is the right balance of speed and cost.Customer Review: Not fast enough for continuous shooting

If you have a camera that shoots 3-9 frames/sec., and you're actually using it to shoot sports, or just trying to capture that exact frame of moving subjetcs - don't buy this item.
It's not fast enough....6 frames, and the card slows to a near halt.
For everything else, it's all good.

Customer Review: Great CF for the Amateur Photographer

I have been very pleased with this compact flash. The price is just right for the performance it provides. There is no need to purchase a more expensive CF if you are just an amateur taking pictures on an occasional basis. This CF provides plenty of speed even when I was shooting rapid shots at a drag race I recently attended. I did not miss a shot and the 8 GB space provides sufficient storage.
