This chip is billed as new and NEW means "completely compatible" with the products intended for use. It functions well in my Samsung A707 when it is recognized by the phone. You see, each time you turn on your phone the chip is not recognized. You need to unseat/reseat the chip for the phone to see it each time it is turned on. This is annoying since you need a nice strong, long, fingernail to do it. A random glitch? No, the same thing occurs with at least 4 other A707's that I know of. These include different discount Sandisk chips bought from different vendors. Either the phone has the issue or the discounted chips were defective. When your phone says "memory card has unrecognized format do you want to format?" SAY "NO." Just reset the card and look for the card icon in the upper right hand display.Customer Review: Fantastic deal!

I ordered my Sandisk 2gb micro SD Mid-March so the price was $11.99 at the time. But seeing how it is 16 bucks now, it's not much of a difference. But even at 16 bucks, the price is still amazing, since you won't be able to find this deal anywhere at radioshack or any other electronic store. I'm mainly using my SD card for my R4 that I recently got, and it works like a charm. The details say it is 2.0GB, but in reality it is actually only around 1.89-1.92GB. But what can I say, it's a really great deal which you won't find in many places! Shipping was also decent, as my sd card arrived in the estimation time. It holds around 500 songs on my motorola slvr L7 just fie and loads extremely quickly as well. Overall, you won't be able to find this anywhere else with this amazing price. This is a great price for a 2GB MicroSD card. The first card I got did not function correctly as it kept disappearing from the phone. However BlueProton was quick to replace the defective card with a new one. This one works great. Just pop it in the phone and it configures the card for tunes, pictures, etc.
I couldn't tell from the discription if this card would work but the SanDisk cards are designed to work in various types of phones. This particular card is listed on the SanDisk website to work in the Motorola Maxx VE as well as the LG VX8700. My wife has the 8700 while I have the Maxx VE. By the way, it works for a lot of others as well. Check the SanDisk website if there is a question about conpatability and the reviews don't give you the answer.

This item no longer comes with the SD adapter, despite it being in the title and in the description of the product. After noticing that there wasn't an adapter that came with the microsd, I contacted CTCStores and this was their reply.
"We're sorry that this package does not come with adapter anymore.
Since we are only Amazon marketplace seller, we can not control what
display in the Amazon.
The posting on Amazon.com marketplace is posted by different sellers."
So, if you are wanting compatibility with the microsd to your computer, don't get this item.

Customer Review: Good Value, but casing is troublesome

My MicroSD card works fine and everything is in order. One thing that bothers me is the adapter.
The Adapter encases the MicroSD card, but the lock mechanism is annoying. Everytime I insert it into my computer, I cannot delete anything off of it because it's locked. I take take it out of my laptop and find that the lock switch is a little flimsy. So I can continue adding, but not deleting.
I guess another adapter is in order. Other than that, the card stores 2GB... I should know, because mine's at full capacity, haha.
Also, I noticed that the transfer speed from this card versus a regular SD card is slower.
