Customer Review: Works great in my Samsung Blackjack cell phone

I bought the full retail packaging of this 2gb SanDisk micro SD card from Staples and it's been running without any problems (~2 months now) in my Samsung Blackjack cellphone which runs Windows Mobile 5.
At first the Blackjack did not recognize it because I had not pushed it in far enough - you have to push it with the edge of your finger nail until the card is below the body of the phone and you'll hear a click. I now use its storage for these applications:
- Windows Media player (Menu / Library / Menu / Library / Storage Card). I'm going to have to get one of the mini headphone jacks so I can feed it to the speakers in my office.
- Camera (Menu / Options / General / Default Storage: Storage Card). With the micro SD card installed, toggling to Camcorder (Menu / 1) now has more storage.
- Google Maps (requires Data access)
The full size SD adapter worked when I used it with my TV.

I have purchased two of this SanDisk TransFlash Cards, one was working perfect, the second one have a problem with the card reader, I believe the MicroSD have bad contact inside the SD Adapter, if you keep pushing hard, it will read a few moments, but stops working after a few seconds. Anyway after contacting the seller and complain about the issue, I was told to mail the SanDisk back " First Class Mail " what I did. After a few day's I received an e-mail from the seller they have tested the SD card stated there was nothing wrong with the card, but they will send me a NEW SD Card by mail. A few day's later my SD card arrived, it was the same " NOT WORKING " SD card they have send me back, NO new one as promised.
For SD Card I will give 2 out of 5 **

I bought this product almost 2 years ago for myself and my boyfriend. We both love the memory cards! I am actually online now to purchase another one for my boyfriend's sister who is always complaining that she cannot take more pictures on her camera phone because it keeps saying "Memory full" We told her about the card, and I actually went to CVS and Walmart to look for one to buy, but they were priced as $25 and $30, respectively. So I told her I ordered ours for less than $10 on amazon.
I would definitely recommend purchasing the bulk package one online. It's cheaper and so what if it's not packaged nicely. It still works just the same. And with the adapter you can stick it right into photo printing machines and print your pictures off your cell phone. It's also great for transferring music files for phones that also work as an MP3 player.

The SD card adapter gives flexibility of use for SD and microSD applications. I use my microSD card primarily as memory expansion for my Sansa e270, giving me 2 GB more of memory capacity for music. I use the SD card adapter when I want to write to the card from my laptops SD card slot or if I want to use to listen to music from my Treo 650. It's a pretty handy/versatile thing. The only reason I didn't give this item the full 5 stars is because it doesn't have more memory capacity. Currently, it seems like one should not bother with memory expansion unless it is a minimum of 4 GB. Multimedia usage on portable devices continues to break capacity barriers through HDD use, flash memory has yet to become a cheap and commercially viable option, but is supposed to come into it's own in the next few years. I purchased this item a few weeks ago and may I say that it was more than I expected. I wanted a 2GB microSD for my cellphone and the SD Adapter for transferring stuff to my Wii and camera. I got said items plus one extra. Surprisingly I got an extra Mini SD Adapter. I don't know if I read the description wrong or something, but I was quite pleased to get something extra for surprisingly quick shipping (about 2 weeks).
On another note, I think there was something wrong with my address or something; I think it got cut off so they had to ship it back or something. Not entirely sure what happened, but whatever the case was, I am very happy with the results. I purchased from the seller BlueProton since it was the cheapest vendor that would ship to my location. Will purchase from seller again!
