I can't claim to've compared wide variety of competitors' offerings, but this tiny little card does the job well for a significantly lower price than Sony's. I bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro 1Gb a couple of years ago for $85. This new Memory Stick "Duo" form factor is less than half the size, twice the capacity and half the price...and performs as well or better.Customer Review: Good Disk

This is a good memory stick and it holds a lot of pictures. It's very fast too. SanDisk is a reputable company so you really can't go wrong here. Worth upgrading to a 2GB disk so you can hold thousands of photos on your camera without erasing them. This ScanDisk 2 GB Ultra II Memory Stick Pro Duo is fantastic! It works perfectly in my Sony DSC-W1 digital camera.
2 GB is a major upgrade from my 256 MB of memory I'd used. The price offered on this site is unbeatable.

The SanDisk 2 is a 2GB card, which includes an adapter for older sony cameras. It also fits into my Playstation 3, though that ability hasn't had any significance to me yet. The card is small and easily lost, but why you would have it outside of your camera is beyond me. If you have a cybershot, this is a good card to have.
