Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk 2 GB Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo (Retail Package)Customer Review: Instructions scanty Summary: 4 Stars
This memory card is pretty much problem free although I have not tested it to full capacity yet. My one criticism is that the instructions were almost nonexistent and so I didn't understand what the adaptor that came with the memory stick was for. This is used only when inserting the memory disc into a photo processing station at a camera shop, Walmart or drug store location. You must insert the memory stick into the adaptor and then insert the whole thing into the photo processor. Maybe I'm hopelessly uninformed but maybe other purchasers would like to know this.

I bought this product to send to my son in Brazil for his camera. He said he is very pleased with it and it works fine. I thought I paid an excellent price for it compared with buying it from a regular retail store such as Fry's. The shipping was fast, it arriving within a week. The big drawback was, that since I declared what was in the packet when I mailed it to my son, he was required to pay almost $100 import duty on it in Brazil. It might have been cheaper for him to buy it there!
Customer Review: SanDisk 2 GB Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo Summary: 5 Stars
I have it for over a year now. Always worked great, never had any "lost" data or any other file system errors. I'd say the transfer rate is 3-7 MB/s when the camera is connected to te computer with the usb cable. I do not think a card with higher speed would have a noticeable impact in the camera, only maybe if I use the memory stick with a card reader. I do not get the feeling that I'm waiting for the images to be written on the card when taking pictures. I use it in a sony dsc-w100.
Customer Review: worked great until it failed :-( Summary: 3 Stars
Speed for photos & video was slightly faster than a standard Pro Duo in my Sony Cybershot DSCW80 7.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot (Black). Not much else to say except it did what is is was supposed to do until it failed. When it failed it could not write or read data. All data on the card was lost including pictures taken at the air & water show.
Customer Review: Typical SanDisk quality Summary: 5 Stars
All digital media storage cards that I own are made by SanDisk. Needless to say, they have not failed me yet. I own 4 CF cards, 1 SD card, and 1 MS, all SanDisk Ultra II. All but my SLR can push the cads to the limit, but the performance can be seen on the reads. The card is absolutely amazing and I can't even begin to think about what life would be like trying to copy 2GB of content the the computer on a slower card!
Buy quality, buy SanDisk!
