I recieved this SanDisk 2 GB Extreme III SD Memory Card yesterday.
It was nice packed.
Inside of the package: the memory card, recovery mini disk software and very nice travel case.
I checked the card immediately - it was already formated, so need to format manualy. It works fine with my Cannon camera. I took a dosen shots on fast sports mode - really fast. No time to load the image on the screen. Everything appears simultaneously.
My HP laptop with integrated card reader read the card without any problems.
My overal opinion: REALLY NICE PRODUCT!
I'm still working with the card for a day, but i hope there won't be a problems in the future.

The SanDisk Secure Digital 2.0 GB Extreme III memory card was promoted as a bargain price for a trusted manufacturer's product. I purchased two for my Nikon Digital SLR. However, when they arrived, initially I could not get them to accept images from either the Nikon nor my pocket Canon Digital. Finally, I realized that the lable of the cards had been misprinted, misplacing the position of the "locked" indicator mark. This fact was not mentioned in either Amazon's promotion nor in the printed material accompanying the cards. Now that I have figured out the problem, the cards work fine and truly were a bargain! Candidness in their promotion on Amazon's part was lacking, however!Customer Review: 20 MB/Sec write, read speed... wow!

Simply, top of the line.
Some reviewers here got misunderstanding when compare this product to others as they say "It looks similar to Ultra II or Class 6". To feel the difference u have to test it in DSLR or camcorder (both with demanding circumstances) not in compact cameras. Ultra II give u 10MB/Sec write speed and u dont need more than that for compacts even for burst shooting, u reach the maximum performance with Ultra II in most compact cameras. So it is not surprising that u will not feel difference! u may feel difference while transferring files. 20MB/Sec write/read speed is something surprising. Remember, u may not need all this speed for your compact camera.

I have used these chips extensively, they are fast and reliable, and more weatherproof than the camera.They are durable,easy to use and the little bags they come with are easy to attch to a camera strap or bag so I always have a fast and easy to find chip to swap out in a hurry rather than digging in my bag or pockets.
The size is good too. 2G is more than enough and if I use lithium batteries the batteries go right after the chip is full so when I switch chips I switch batteries.Very convenient reminder.Also 2 G is a good size as I don't get completely lazy about getting the photos off the camera in case it gets lost or stolen and I lose the camera and my memories.

Well this card is fast as advertised...
It addressed the lag/delay issue I was having with taking photos in a Canon IS5, so well in fact that I purchased a second card to alleviate a map loading issue that I kept getting when using a slower SD card in my Garmin iQue 3600 GPS.
Worth the money, in spite of it being about twice as expensive as bargain cards - but you do however get what you pay for. Unless using an SD card for audio/MP3, save yourself the headaches & pony up just a little more money as your Camera/PDA or GPS device will reward you back accordingly!!!!
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, only due to the higher price.
