Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk 2 GB SDSDX3-2048-901 Extreme III SD Memory Card (Retail Package)Customer Review: EXTREME!! YES Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this Extreme III card on the basis of other reviews. Did not know the difference between cards. Thought all were the same except for brand names and GBs. Used this card and new Canon SD750 at my daughters wedding at Sandals Royale Caribbean in Jamaica and am very pleased with the results. The wedding was on the beach and you can just snap away one after the other photo. The camera sends it to the card and the card reads it EXTREMLY fast. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: one of the fastest cards on market Summary: 5 Stars
other cards may tout their speed but that is only on the read that they advertise. the sandisk is the only company to guarantee speeds both up and down. this card does 20mb/sec up/down. incredible speeds useful if you have your slr do continuous shooting in large sizes.
if you dont need that much transfer get the II version which is slower but still much better than off named brands. they go for around 20 or less these days when a deal comes around.
Customer Review: Fast Fast Fast! Summary: 5 Stars
Do you hear that, its the sound of my Nikon D80 furiously clicking away. There was a very noticeable difference when I changed my first 2GB SD for this one.
The buffer on the camera clears much faster and my shots per second have finally matched what the Specs say they should be.
My only minor complaint was the amount of packaging they send you for this tiny little card, I mean do we really need the cloth carrying case?!
Customer Review: Not as fast as expected - works well Summary: 4 Stars
The card is not as fast as I was expecting it o be, compared to a Extreme III Compact Flash card. But, maybe due to the differences in the cards, they aren't. Using in the same camera as a standard SD card, I never noticed any faster rad/write speeds. That said, the card has performed very well, have taken over 200 pictures and probably 30-40 mins of video. I would buy the card again, just would not have the same expectations going in.
Customer Review: it works fine Summary: 3 Stars
I got this one recently for my Canon Power Shot s3. It works fine. Only problem i had was during taking movies. The movie stopped after 30 sec may be. I do not know whether this is because of the camera or the SD card. I had a Sandisk Ultra II for my Canon S2 before and did not have any problem. Regarding taking snaps I did not have any problem. The tranfer speed of the images to my laptop was really quick compared to the Ultra II.
