Through exhaustive unscientific research, I have determined the 2GB Sandisk Extreme III SD memory card to be considerably faster in read/write performance in my Canon SD1000 digicamera. I used a standard Sandisk 2GB from my PDA, then the Extreme III. The speed was notable, I swear. If you're one of those people, as I am, who can't wait for the last few seconds to finish on the microwave, this card's for you.
I've had good luck with Sandisk products. I'm stickin' with 'em.

I bought the SanDisk Extreme III SD memory card for Canon G7. I am happy that I bought 2GB memory so it can hold more pictures but I still had to leave some time interval between the shots. If I click the photos continously I end up getting blurred images. I am not sure if this is about the memory card or the camera. I recently got G7 so still haven't finished reading the manual. However, this memory card is faster than the normal SD card. I am happy with the purchase.Customer Review: Improves performance of my camera

I bought this card and a Panasonic 2 GB SD Memory card. My camera (Nikon D80) performs better on the multiple shot setting (3 shots per second) with this card than the Panasonic. This is the reason I bought the card, so I am happy with it.
Ultimately, I realized I did not take "rapid fire" pictures often, so you must analyze your expected usage. It has a premium price and in my opinion, only worthwhile if you are expecting to use this to your advantage.

This product from SanDisk is an excelent memory card for any DSLR camera. It allows you to burst fast shooting picture up to 6pps and probably would go even higher but never tested. This is class 6 memory card. I can't tell what would be the difference between class 6 and class 10, but if class 6 is acceptable why go and spend more money for class 10? This was a good buy, even I had to buy 16GB class 6 SD memory card six months later to gain more space for my photos.Customer Review: Love the rescue software

Got it primarily for the rescue software. It comes on a mini-disk. Important factoid for anyone who has a slot loading cd-drive. I called the company when I realized I could not use the provided mini-disc because of said type of drive. SanDisk offered to burn the software onto a cd-rom and sent it to me free of charge. As they should. The software was super easy to use. Saved a precious movie file that I'd accidentally deleted. Great service on the part of SanDisk.
